Helena's Pov

After I found out that Duncan doesn't remember me anymore, I decided not to go near the forest where I met him. I don't want to meet him because I will only get hurt if he still doesn't remember me. So I just stayed inside Achel's house.

I was sitting quietly in a wooden chair behind Achel's house and was meditating when I felt someone behind me staring at me. When I turned around, I discovered that it was Deron. He was standing behind me and staring at me intensely.

"What do you want, Deron?" I asked in a cold voice. I clearly told him that I won't marry him so why bother coming at me?

Deron sat beside me and suddenly held my hands. I immediately withdrew my hands as if I was burned by his touch.

"Helena, I have decided to continue our marriage even though you said that you're already married to someone else. I believed that you are not married anymore that's why you remain staying here and didn't come back to your husband. I can accept you, Helena. I love you and I wan
