Chapter five

I knew my tears wouldn't stop my father from dealing with me, I sat there waiting for my final judgement which was the punishment, when a thunderous slap landed on my left ear leaving a whistling sound after effect, I doubt I would be hear from that ear for some hours, I looked up to meet the murderous eyes of my brother, up until now I couldn't fathom where such hatred grew from, we used to be close and all of sudden he hated even the mention of my name. Dennis just sat down there enjoying the show.

" father what do we do to this whore, I have pack work to do, I can't waste my day dealing with her" my brother spat with disgust.

" I assign three hundred silver chain flogging and one week in the pack jail, we don't want to soil the land with her blood especially now we are expecting a very important guest in weeks to come" my father gave the order, with one last killing glare he left. I could see Dennis smirk all through.

 " did he say he didn't want to spill blood, then what is three hundred silver flogging, no one had survived past fifty, the even passed out before the counting gets to twenty, the strongest which is the alpha can take at most fifty, so how could a common omega like me handle three hundred" I asked myself, I was still filled with scars of the previous beating and for sure I won't survive today's own.

" you would have taken my offer freak, but the offer is still on, you don't have to go through that pain you know" Dennis whispered to me before leaving.

" I would rather than die than let that happen" I spat aloud, I was sure he could hear me, so did my brother.

 I was dragged outside by some pack guards and cuffed with a silver chain, as the silver chain came in contact with my skin I whimpered in pain.

I was stripped naked, I barely had my undies on me, it didn't bother me since this was not the first time, from where I stood I could see Julia tearing up, that's all she could do because any step, she might not make it out.

" I will be fine bestie, I promise" I mind linked, she nodded and gave me a soft smile. The guards informed me of the commencement of the flogging.

Funny enough the first ten floggings were painful as hell, I knew my screams could be heard round the pack but I felt my body heal almost immediately leaving me no residual pain, at first I thought it was an illusion coming from the pain but when a few more landed on my skin, I was sure I was healing. It was impossible to for a werewolf to heal quickly with silver chains, it look at least two days and here I am healing immediately. 

Now it wasn't the flogging that bothered me, it was for the guards not to find out and lead me into further trouble. I decided to keep my cool, since it only pained when the chains landed on my skin and stopped paining afterwards, I decided to shout all through, thankfully it was believable, when the got to fifty I could see the shock in their faces and if I don't do anything quickly they would probably find out and my father would have more cause to label me a freak, I had to pretend to pass out while enduring pains. When they were convinced I had passed out, they dragged all the way to the pack jail, the pungent smell of urine and defecation was everywhere, I was feeling nauseous at that point, if I wasn't in a facade I would have probably exposed myself, I kept my cool, last thing I wanted was to give them a hint of what was really happening, I felt my skin hit an hard floor and some key sounds. I figured out I was now in the cell room, I stayed in same position for what seemed like forever before opening my eyes, I met about six other ladies, two were older while the others were probably my age mate or a few years older or younger than I was.

" hey how are you doing?" one of the elderly women whom later introduced herself as Clara asked

I just nodded and sat without giving them a glimpse of my back.

" what's up why are you here?" another young girl(Jenny)

" erhm a little issue, I didn't want to go into details" I answered politely.

   In two days we had already became good friends, I knew their names and they knew mine, I finally told them the reason I was imprisoned and the told me theirs, it were quite pitiful but something happened, one of the days we were chilling as usual when we heard, someone opening the our gate, two guards entered and dragged Sonia out, I wanted to talk but the elderly women signalled me not to, I kept my cool till the left.

" Mama what was that for?" I asked 

" my daughter that's how life inside here is, as for where she is being taken to, I do not know, let's pray she comes back alive. The truth is that the survey each prison room and sieve out the pretty ones, they are either raped or turned into sex slaves to some hungry old men" she replied, I could feel pain shut through my heart, Sonia was barely seventeen, these people are more heartless than I had imagined. I knew I had nothing to worry about since my looks were barely average.

We stayed awake for some time waiting for her return but she didn't come back, we decided to sleep and look forward to tomorrow. 

  I still l had four days to spend here, I wonder what the outside world looked like and I really missed Julia
