Chapter one

" Amelia!! Amelia!!!" I heard Julia screaming from downstairs, it has been her everyday routine but thanks to her, I didn't bother getting an alarm. I am Amelia an eighteen years old female without a mate and I am an Omega. you might be wondering why there is an emphasis in the "Omega" well Omega's are the lowest of the werewolf rank but I heard from a former slave that when I was born, my status was uncertain so instead of labeling me a she wolf with an unknown wolf Identity my father concluded I was an Omega since I was too weakling when I was born but I didn't let the rumor bother me for all I knew I was weak just like other Omegas and up untill now I was still unable to shift just like some omegas, we were like the servants or would I say slaves, so our pack was no different, I was the only Omega in my family, my parents were Betas, so is my brother Derrick but I was the only one born as an Omega which made my father detest me alot considering his position in the pack but my mother was always there to console me and always assured me things would get better. Well that was until she died in a rogue attack before my twelve birthday party and since then my life took a huge turn.

" yes Julia i am up" I shouted, I jumped off the bed, dressed my tiny bed, yes I stay in the basement, according to my father, that was were I belonged but I didn't care, at least I got enough space and privacy to my self. I quicky changed my gown to the working gown, today would be like every other day, just work work and work.

" Julia the door is open, you can enter" I said as I heard the knock on my door, well Julia had been my only friend and she was an orphan and an Omega too, so we became friends ever since we met up until now, we became really close friends and I loved her as a sister.

" well princess Amelia, hope you are awake your highness" she said sarcastically, I laughed out loud and her sarcastic tone, she always had a way to crack me up and that was what I loved about her.

" well servant Julia what do we have for today?" I asked finally wearing my shoes.

" hmm we are cleaning the training field, Mrs Shaman said it's messed up I am sure it's the douchebag and his stupid friends that kept it that way" she said angrily, referring to the douchebag, it's Lucas, the Alpha's first son and the soon to be alpha, he was known for his recklessness and wickedness, he seizes every opportunity to make life a living hell for we the omegas and we didn't dare complain in order not to become a victim of his abuse.

" off we go then" I said, as we stepped out, it was going to one hell of a day. I used. short cut to the Alpha's house though it was bushy but it was better than the ugly looks we got anytime we walked through the packs. It was more messed up than I thought, but luckily we were not alone, an Omega Sophia was already there though we were not really close but extra hands would help get the work done quickly since we had more chores awaiting us. We just nodded as a sign of greetings and went to pick up the brush. Sophia was way different from us, she was willing to do anything to get to the top even if it meant being the higher ups whore that was the reason we didn't get along so well. 

   We were cleaning when I heard a footstep and a scent, it was a powerful scent it's either the alpha or his foolish son Lucas, for an Omega I had an incredible hearing and smelling ability which was not supposed be so, considering only Alphas can hear from miles but I seem to hear from miles away which always gave me a severe headache but after I made the discovery I did well to keep it to myself, I didn't want any more pain in my life than the one I have now and besides who would believe a girl whom had never shifted. i continued my cleaning till I felt a presence, we all turned and gave our respective bows, he had his normal disgusting smirk that irritated me to the core. He stood there giving us the lustful look, I am sure he must be bored and wouldn't mind having fun with his slaves but I had nothing to worry about, my physical appearance was not much since I was mostly covered with coal and dirty cloth so was Julia's but Sophia had lots of skin to show, He walked past me to where Sophia was standing, he seem to have whispered something to her because immediately he left, Sophia followed bearing a satisfactory smile on her face. Seems her mission had been accomplished. We ignored her and continued our cleaning, before long we were done, we decided to head back to the kitchen to check for leftovers. We chatted as we walked to the kitchen we even mimicked Sophia's composure immediately she noticed the Alpha's son presence, it was quite funny. When we got to the kitchen, we didn't meet much we just took the left over pancake and sat under the stairs and enjoyed it under the stairs, it was quite peaceful there. I and Sophia ate the pancake and headed back to the pack house to know if the needed extra hands, one thing about being an omega was that I had no resting time, it was all work, work and work but it was all good as long as my father and brother  were out of sight.
