04 Twist Of Fate

I stared at the Alpha who had nothing but hatred in his eyes, his gaze was vicious. I watch my world crumble before me. Coming to this park was to find my mate who will breathe life into my half-dead soul, I dreamed of him showering me with love all the days of my life, filling my bad memories with sweet memories

How could fate be so cruel to mate me to an Alpha who had nothing but hatred for me, how do I survive this ill fate?

"Do you think I would possibly accept a low life like you as my mate? What were you thinking showing up here that I'll accept you?"

I wanted to talk but it's pointless, my opinion does not count, I could have thought about this, he already has a beautiful lady who's of course is from a rich family, what will he be doing with a pauper like me

"I want mate" Amy whimpered

"What are we going to do Amy he does not want us"

"I don't know" She whimpered

"Let the celebration begin, the full moon is out" A man whom I assumed to be the Alpha's beta spoke through the loudspeaker

The Alpha dragged my hair forcefully and face the crowd making me wince in pain, everywhere turned silent as everybody's attention was focused on us

He push me back making me fall to the bare floor, I ended up injuring my knee, but the pain in my heart was nothing compared to the physical pain

"Knee!" He commanded, blood was gushing out of my knee, I couldn't do anything I look so pitiful right now that I hated and cursed my existence, everything he has today belonged to me, but the moon goddess allowed his father take everything, and yet I'm still the one suffering

Why is life so unjust? Why I'm I suffering this much?

"Get down on your knees or you'll be forced to" 

I closed my eyes accepting my faith. If he ends up rejecting me then I'll turn Rogue. What will be the faith of my unborn child? Does he even know that I'm carrying his unborn baby? No, he doesn't

Slowly I lowered my feet to the ground looking helpless, homeless, and pathetic. I stare at the woman beside the Alpha. She was smiling secretly and I guess she was happy seeing me suffer like this.

The Alpha faced the full moon, my worst nightmare is about to come to pass, how do I escape this cruel fate 

Dear moon goddess I know I've blamed and cursed you for all my misfortune, this one last time I plead that you show me mercy, my child cannot survive me being a Rogue I don't want to commit suicide it will be my only option after this, my prayer was cut short when the Alpha started the ritual

"I Alpha Lucid De stonn stand before this full moon, I reject her as my mate, I strip myself off every bond binding us together and mark this day never to have anything to do with a pauper like her"

The tears I'd been fighting finally dropped, I made to stop them but they kept coming regardless, my worst fear has happened and the moon goddess has once again failed me

I look at the moon with tears in my eyes, blood in my veins, I muttered inwardly

"From today moon goddess you seize to exist in my life and so will you not exist in my unborn child's life from now on my destiny and that of my unborn child are in my hands" I closed my eyes after my incantation waiting for the Alpha to declare me a Rogue

"I Alpha Lucid De stonn from this day declare you……!"

"Hold it there!" A deep velvet baritone voice ordered from the crowd, 

I opened my eyes immediately and was shocked to see everyone on their knees, including The Alpha. 

I look around in confusion wondering why everyone is on their knees, and who was that person that could stop the Almighty Alph Lucid. And then I saw him, advancing towards me, his deep blue eyes shone brightly more than the stars at night, he screams of power, authority, Dark aura

His jet black hair pushed up to his face, his black regalia giving him the Dark Alpha vibes, his bare chest was open showing his perfect tattooed chest that was covered with inks of tattoos, his whole neck was also covered in tattoos making me wonder if his back has a tattoo too.

I couldn't take my eyes away from him, he's divinely made, beautiful is nothing compared to him. He finally stopped before the Alpha who was still on his knees, he has not taken his gaze away from mine, but I was forced to look away, something about him screams Danger 

"Long live HYBRID ALPHA ORTEGA" Alpha Lucid greeted him, and He growls in response, 

"She will not be a Rogue" He muttered making my eyes widen immediately, why is the most powerful Alpha of all time saving me?

I made to peep at him but I look away immediately seeing that he was staring back at me, 

"From today henceforth I ALPHA ORTEGA claim her as my property, mine to do as I please, as I want and however it pleases me, and from today you Alpha Lucid no longer have rights over her, henceforth she belongs to me HYBRID ALPHA ORTEGA, and no one except me own her mind, body and soul"

I looked up immediately as our eyes stared into each other's thunder stroke followed by heavy lightning, marking the end of the full moon.

Why do I feel like a new fate awaits me from now on, a fate that I cannot predict, could it be a bad fate or the beginning of something good only time will tell

"Guards!" He beckoned and two huge guys came out from the crowd, 

"Alpha" They bowled

"Take her to the car" The guards dragged me up and we started walking to where I don't know they didn't use force but they were not gentle either, they stopped immediately we came out of the mansion fleet of car lines up

"Take her to my car'' I heard his voice behind me and turned to see him staring at me with his two hands crossed behind his back.

They opened the door of the most luxurious car, I didn't wait for their order before I entered, the Alpha entered afterward. I shifted far to the other end. I don't even know this Alpha, what does he want to do with me? Does he know that I'm pregnant?

"I can smell your fear, I can hear all of your thought, and trust me you don't want to know what I'll do to you" He snarled, I turned sharply to see him with no expression on his face, he smirk seeing my fear for him

How is it possible that he can hear my thoughts? Who is he?

"He's a hybrid Alpha , The most powerful Alpha that ever lived, he has strange powers which make him more powerful, he's the Alpha of all Alphas, a very dangerous Alpha, he's extremely cruel with no heart. We don't know what he plans to do to us, we have to be careful especially when he's the Dangerous Alpha of BLACK WOLVES PACK" Amy said making my heart skip immediately, 

No…no this can't be I shook in fear, shifting farther away from him, I can't possibly be in the same car with the Alpha of black wolves packs. Was that the reason why Alpha Lucid was so scared of him? Even the people at the celebration trembled at his presence, I've always heard about the Black wolves pack, their Alpha is the most dangerous Alpha of all time, he's a hybrid a rare one with unexplainable powers

I sighed and looked out of the window as the car drove off. I'm tired. Destiny has always played mind games with me, it started with losing my pack, and then losing both of my parents, now I lost my mate too, and was suddenly claimed by the most feared Alpha. One minute I thought I would become a Rogue the next minute I turned into ALPHA ORTEGA'S PROPERTY, fate is sure playing mind games with me

After hours of driving, they finally drove into a huge palace, 

"Come down" He uttered, I nodded fearfully before stepping out of the car, my breath hitched seeing the paradise before us. This place looks like another heaven, how did I end up sleeping on the street to living in a paradise

"Don't just stand and mop like a lunatic, use your legs!'' He barked making me flinch back in fear, he started walking inside while I followed quietly, I wrapped my arms around my tummy, I don't know what destiny has for me here but I have sworn to take my fate and that of my unborn baby into my hands, I won't allow this new pack nor the people in it determines mine nor my baby's future.

From now on, I'll work hard to rewrite my cruel fate in this new pack where I'm like a foreigner and I'll fight destiny this time.
