After 6 years

Nox’s POV

“Oh, baby ! I am gonna miss you so much,” the Queen Bee rasped before she pinned me against the Beta Academy’s lockers and had tongue s*x with me publicly.

Not that I minded.

I was not named ‘Hottest Man Ever’ or ‘Bi Heart-breaker’ or ‘King Player’ for no reason.

I could bet my gay professor’s juicy big ass that I had slept with the entire Academy save for the Principle. Being bi gave you loads of options left and right, after all.

I was pretty sure I was going to be pretty unrecognizable to anyone back home- in and out, and I meant it !

My personality had turned cooler, sexier and stronger while my lanky thin body had long gone to give way to a taut stomach with a hard earned 8 pack and sun kissed, exotic looks that could make traffic stop. Haha. Not my words.

“I am gonna miss you too, babe,” I husked back in what’s - her - name’s mouth before going for the plunge again. Nah I won’t.

I was going back home for good.

Finally !!

Home, sweet home, here I come !

* * * * *

Xayden’s POV

“That lanky, giant pain in the ass nerd ? I am pretty sure, he would be coming back with the entire library in his suitcase,” I scoffed when I got the unfortunate news that the Beta nerd was returning after his six-year-long training.

“Cut him some slack, will you ? He is coming back after 6 long years and you, Mr Xayden Adler are going to be on your best behaviour coz you two are 19 years old adults who need to STOP BEHAVING LIKE MURDERING KIDS !” Mom screamed.

“Woah ! Chill mom. I am not gonna kill that geek,” I scoffed.

“Nor banish him away, son,” my retired Alpha father butt in.

“Ughh dammit,” I cursed.

“Now, now, now. Be a good boy and Alpha, and go and welcome your Beta !!” Dad effortlessly kicked my chair away while Mom opened the door to send the rolling Alpha Chair with me in it out of the room and down the stairs.

BANG ! BANG ! BANG !

CRASH !!

OWW ! OWW ! OWW !

BANG ! BANG ! BANG !

CRASH !!

“SOMEONE JUST KILL ME !!” I screamed.

“We tried to, son. Guess we failed again !!” Mom shouted and out came Dad’s roaring laughing voice and then- eww ! That is my office for fuck’s sake !!

Oh, God.

Yikes !

No s*x in my office !!

“MOM ! DAD !”, I whined and even louder explosive laughter of the couple blasted out.

“We were just messing with you. You should have heard yourself,” my Dad guffawed as tears started coming to his eyes.

My mom too sported a red flush face and somehow managed to spill out, “Now go and get that Beta of yours !!”, she cackled up again.

What's so funny ? Pfft !

“I feel so stressed about this already”, I murmured under my breath while rubbing my forehead.

“Good ! Coz stress is all part of being an Alpha. If you are not throwing up in your mouth, you are not doing it right.” Dad preached. “Now please excuse me, but I have more important things to do with my mate,” he added.

“Oh Chris, stop it !”, Mom blushed profusely but let my Dad hold her by the waist and push her to himself. “Don’t pay attention to your Dad. You are gonna be fine. Now get that lovely boy. I am dying to meet him and see what has he become after all these years,” she excitedly added.

“I am pretty sure it would be a crappy donkey with glasses”, I mumbled under my breath, but my parents heard it anyway.

“Xayden,” Mom sternly said.

“Argh ! Fine. I am going to welcome him”, I grumbled before I stomped out to get the fvcking asshole.

However, I stopped in my tracks when I smelt the most delicious smell on Earth !!

“MATE !”

On the ride home, Aaron pressed in without being told. Kyle’s hand settled firmly on Aaron’s thigh this time, fingers spreading, grounding him through every curve of the road. Not rushing. Not taking. Just reminding him exactly where he was. When they pulled into the driveway, neither of them moved to get off right away.Kyle cut the engine. The sudden quiet was deafening.“You still with me?” Kyle asked softly.Aaron nodded, forehead resting between Kyle’s shoulder blades. “Yes.”Kyle reached back and squeezed his thigh once more—slow, deliberate. “Good boy.”There was that phrase again. Good boy. Aaron’s heart jumpstarted.“You ride well,” Kyle murmured near his ear. “Responsive. Sensitive.”Aaron’s heart almost gave out. Finally, Kyle swung off the bike in one smooth motion.Aaron stayed where he was.The seat was still warm beneath him, legs loose, hands resting uncertainly at his sides. He leaned back instinctively, spine arching as the bike steadied him, breath still uneven from

Kyle didn’t corner Aaron. He waited. That was the difference. If Harvey was heat and pressure, Kyle was gravity—subtle, inescapable, pulling Aaron closer without ever seeming to move.It started with proximity.Aaron would be chopping vegetables, baby balanced on his hip, when Kyle would drift into the kitchen and lean against the counter. Not touching. Just close enough that Aaron could feel his warmth and the carefully dabbed essential oils and enticing scents.“You don’t need to do that,” Kyle said one afternoon, watching Aaron rinse rice three times like it was sacred and chopping vegetables in record time. “I could’ve ordered takeout.”Aaron shook his head. “You said this was your favorite.”Kyle blinked. “I said that once.”Aaron shrugged, embarrassed. “I remember things.”Kyle watched him for a long moment. Then, quietly, “I like that about you. But you are my favourite thing.”Aaron’s hands stilled. Did he really say that?Kyle reached past him for a spoon, his arm brushing Aa

The night air cut against his skin, cold and sharp, but he welcomed it—it meant he was still breathing. Bruises bloomed along his ribs and arms, half-hidden beneath borrowed clothes that hung loose on his frail frame. Blood had dried at the corner of his mouth. His wrist throbbed where fingers had gripped too tightly, held too long.He didn’t look back. He never would. He was going to leave behind his abusive adoptive parents for good – either by escaping or by dying by fate’s hand t

  • ALPHA'S BETA MATE   BONUS CHAPTER #7 (PART-5)

Third Person POVMorning sunlight spilled across the empty cabin, mirroring the quiet ache settling into the doctor’s heart. His fingers tightened around the coffee cup meant for his Alpha, the thin paper crumpling beneath his grip. Waking to an empty bed had stung—but the empty chair at the hospital hurt far worse. In the hush of dawn after the most magical, passionate night ever, he’d let himself hope. Hope that he’d find the charismatic, smiling Alpha waiting for him at the hospital. Hope that maybe—just maybe—they were meant to be together after all.Meanwhile in the Thunderstorm Pack, Quinton sat behind his Alpha desk, posture rigid, eyes scanning files he barely absorbed. His wolf had marked Hudson, satisfied in a way only the Alpha could feel, but Quinton himself remained cold, distant, controlled. He buried himself in pack duties, administrative operations, extra missions—anything to drown the ache of the human’s absence.Hudson, meanwhile, felt the emptiness like a physical w

  • ALPHA'S BETA MATE   BONUS CHAPTER #7 (PART-4)

Third Person POVThe banquet hall was alive with chatter, clinking glasses, and the subtle hum of admiration for the new ownership. Quinton had organized it as a formal thank-you, yet even in a sea of doctors and staff, he dominated the room—not with words, but his powerful presence. Tailored suit cutting across his broad shoulders, every movement precise and controlled, hair slightly tousled as if he hadn’t needed to try to look perfect—he drew eyes without effort.Quinton moved among the crowd, a striking figure and sight to behold. He smiled, charming, approachable, friendly but his eyes avoided Hudson, and the human’s heart thudded painfully each time he caught sight of him. The drop-dead gorgeous Alpha was friendly with everyone to make each smile feel like a personal gift. Hudson’s pulse stuttered. His heart betrayed him before his brain could even try to suppress it. Every lean, controlled movement of Quinton—the tilt of a head, the adjustment of his cuff—made Hudson's chest ti

Third Person POVIn the mornings, Quinton arrived before most of the staff, his polished boots clicking against the marble floors. His presence alone drew heads up. Tall, impeccably tailored in dark grey, broad shoulders unyielding, raw power flickering faintly in his eyes—he moved with the quiet authority of someone who didn’t need to raise his voice for people to listen.Hudson, already at his post in the main ward, saw him before anyone else did. He tried to focus on charts, on patient updates, on anything professional—but the moment Quinton passed, the air seemed to shift. His pulse jumped. Heat pooled low in his stomach. He cursed under his breath and tried to redirect his attention.By mid-morning, Quinton had done the subtle work that would become legendary in the staff’s whispered conversations:Reorganized the staff rotation, giving overworked doctors more manageable hours.Approved raises quietly, leaving envelopes on desks with personal notes.Installed extra staff in the I
