Stalker

The wind was blowing violently that evening, its roar whizzing through the air like it had been doing all through the day. Olivia, still in her office wear, rushed into her car, planning to get home before the rain could start.

The day had been strenuous, after walking out on Liam in his office she had dived straight into work despite how tired she was. She could not let her work pile up just because she wasn't feeling too well.

Olivia started the car, its engine hiccuping like a gasping swimmer, struggling to stay afloat. It was an old vehicle, one Olivia wasn't planning to change any time soon.

She drove away from her company carefully, her eyes fixed on the road to avoid an accident. She had always been a careful driver, Henry had once told her that a grandmother would drive faster than she does.
