The agitation of the last few days had left a serious mark on me. Chases, demons who wanted to kill me, Sebastian said for my blood. Everything seemed like a bad dream.

And Bash’s comments about what I could do amazed me and made me think seriously. I understood a little, but I noticed that something was wrong with me. I mean, what kind of human can run like that? Exactly, no human could! Then what was I?

I sighed so deeply that I caught Sebastian’s attention, who was sitting too quietly, given the situation. But his face didn’t look so worried. Maybe he had the situation under control.

“I know it’s exhausting what you’re going through, but you’re doing pretty well. This world of mine may have turned yours upside down, and you certainly didn’t think there could be so many creatures out there. Moreover, to have one right next to you…!” he added, and paused, looking out of the plane window.
