ALPHA ZENITH'S POSSESSION- My luna has a secret

The Darkmoon Pack’s estate was bustling with preparations for the grand banquet on Christmas Eve that would determine the pack's future. 

Inside one of the mansion’s opulent rooms, Violet Scott, daughter of Alpha Arthur Scott, carefully braided Keroline's golden hair. Her step sister Keroline, was the epitome of beauty with the golden wolf within her. In contrast, she was born wolf-less, felt like nothing more than a shadow in her own home.

As she tied the final ribbon around Keroline’s braid, Keroline watched her nervous reflection in the mirror and she jerked her head back, causing Violet to fumble back. 

"Ow! You clumsy oaf!" Keroline snapped, "Are you trying to ruin my hair on purpose, bitch?"

Violet's heart pounded as she quickly retrieved the ribbon from the floor. "I’m sorry, Keroline, the ribbon is not fitting, I will change your hairstyle." she said calmly. 

"Sorry? You are trying to ruin my image deliberately!" Keroline sneered, "You’re jealous because you know Alpha Zenith Beckham will choose me as his mate tomorrow, and you’ll be left in the dirt where you belong!"

Violet's heart sank, but she remained silent, mumbling apologies again but Keroline wasn’t done. She threw the ribbon away and stood abruptly, knocking the stool on the floor on which she had been sitting. 

"You duffer! How are you even my sister? Such a pathetic, plain, wolf-less, and utterly useless. No wonder Father despises you."

Violet bit her lip and closed her eyes momentarily, trying to hold back the tears. Keroline’s words cut deep, but they were nothing she hadn’t heard before. Seeing her distress, Keroline’s confidence elated. 

"You know," Keroline continued, her voice dripping with malice, "The world would be a better place without you in it. Maybe you should think about that." She crossed her arms across her chest. 

Before Violet could respond, the door burst open, revealing Nikita, her stepmother, followed by her father, Arthur, and her half-brother, Alex, the future Alpha and a complete jerk.

Nikita’s icy gaze swept over them, her lips curling into a cruel smile. "What’s going on here, girls?" she asked, though the glint in her eyes showed that she already had her answer.

"Violet is trying to ruin everything, Mom," Keroline pouted, her tone shifting from venomous to innocent. "She’s jealous because she knows Zenith will choose me tomorrow, and she’ll be left behind like the useless, wolf-less freak she is."

Nikita raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Is that so?"

"She’s just so insecure, Mom," Keroline whined. "She even ruined my hairstyle TWICE today." Her voice dripped with exaggerated frustration. 

Alex smirked, his eyes fixed on her, clearly enjoying the spectacle. "Sounds like our little wolf-less sister causing trouble again?" His eyes glinted with malice. "What are you up to now, Violet? Trying to stir things up?"

She met his gaze in silence, her jaw tight. "What’s wrong? Cat got your tongue now?" Alex smirked.

Her father’s eyes hardened as he looked at her, cold and detached. "Is this true, violet?" His voice was sharp. "Are you sabotaging your sister’s chances again?"

Violet shook her head quickly. "No, Father, I would never…"

"Don’t lie to me!" he barked, his Alpha tone shaking her. "You’ve been a disappointment since the day you were born. No wolf, no future. You should be grateful I even let you stay here."

A lump formed in her throat, but she couldn’t speak. She knew fighting back would only bring ugly punishment to her. 

Nikita stepped forward, her voice sweet. "Arthur, darling, maybe we’re being too harsh on violet. She’s just... lost. Born without a wolf, she’s only seeking attention. Maybe we should let her mix with people to learn a few lessons."

"I agree with Mother," Alex chimed in, his eyes gleaming. "We could always offer her to the guests... or feed her to the rogues," he joked. 

Violet’s eyes widened at his words. 

Alpha Arthur grunted, his gaze still cold. "Yes, she needs to understand her place. Tomorrow, if Keroline is chosen by Alpha Zenith, remember to stay away from his sight, Violet. I don’t want you to cause any problems tomorrow. Your real place shouldn't be known to our guests!”  

“I didn’t harm Keroline." violet whispered. But her Father’s face twisted with anger. "Enough of your excuses. Be thankful Keroline tolerates you at all. Let’s go, Nikita!"

Nikita’s eyes gleamed with satisfaction as she spoke, "Clean up this mess, Violet. And remember, tomorrow is Keroline’s big day. Don’t ruin it. You’re lucky to even attend, even if it’s as her servant."

Violet nodded, her voice barely above a whisper as if she had given up on defending herself every time. "Yes, Mother."

As Nikita and Arthur turned to leave, Keroline lingered, her smug smile digging deeper. "Enjoy your last night pretending you belong here, dear sister. Tomorrow, when Zenith chooses me, your place will be even lower. Maybe Father will finally throw you out where you belong, with the stray dogs."

She walked out, laughing like a witch and leaving her alone with Alex. The door slammed closed, trapping her in with him.

Violet froze as Alex’s shadow loomed over. "You know, Violet," he whispered, moving closer, "Things don’t have to be so hard for you." His fingers brushed her arm, sending a wave of revulsion through her.

She jerked away. "Stay away from me, Alex.” 

His smirk deepened. "Hmm, still trying hard to get, huh? But fighting me won’t take you anywhere, Sweetheart. Play along, and I’ll make sure you stay in the pack. After all, I’m the future Alpha. Half brother... with benefits." His hand slid lower, squeezing her hips. 

Violet recoiled, disgust tightening in her chest. "You’re sick, Alex. Leave me or I'll scream." She yanked his hand away and tried to leave but he blocked her path. 

“Really, and who is going to come and save you, girl?” He laughed in mockery and leaned closer before pulling her closer. “You are really missing this sick pleasure I am going to give you, babygirl.Trust me, No one has to know.” His hand stroked her left breast and his disgusting breath made her almost puke. Summoning every bit of her strength, Violet shoved him aside, hitting his crotch and bolted out of the room. He cried out. 

“Violet! You bitch, You can't escape me. Fuck!” Alex shouted after her and groaned in pain. “I will catch you!” His voice faded as she kept running through the corridor until she rushed to her small storeroom, her heart pounding hard and body trembling. 

Violet locked the door, stepped back. She looked around, breathing raggedly. That was her place. Lower than a servant. Tears welled up her eyes as she pinched them, but anger surged inside her too. 

She shook her head as sob left her mouth. She couldn’t let them break her. Not like this.

‘Oh Mom, why have you left me alone in this cruel world!’ she sobbed recalling her deceased mother's face, who left her after giving her birth. 

“How did I go from being the cherished daughter of the Alpha to this... this nobody?” she muttered, wiping her tears with the back of her hand, trying to pull herself together.

Her thoughts spiraled. “No one cares. The pack turned on me the moment they saw I had no wolf. Even the friends I once had, they’re gone.”

She squeezed her eyes shut, whispering a desperate prayer. “Moon Goddess, how long are you going to punish me for this? please... give me strength. And if you can... send someone to help me to get out of this hell!” 

Silence filled the room, her voice lost in the quiet as she slid against the wall. And then she smiled! 

‘Silly me! No one will come to save me! Everyone hates me here. I know I have to be my own savior, my own protector.’ 

“One more day,” she whispered, curling up on the cold floor. “I’ll survive it, somehow.” 

“I hope tomorrow Alpha Zenith chooses Keroline!” She whispered, closing her eyes. Maybe after that, she could plan her escape finally. And run into the human world, away from these people, this werewolf world living the life as an ordinary human being that she was. 

Or she considers herself!
