004. "That Will is fake!"

Becky's POV

“Attorney Collins, what's the meaning of this?” I asked as I stood to my feet.

I watched the imbecile walk over to where we stood, a look that one would think innocent. He was dressed better today, at least. He looked like he would need more than guards to know his limit.

“Mr gardener, are you deaf? Didn't you hear what I said back at the hospital? I do not want to see you anywhere close to me. What the hell is your fucking problem?!?”

He didn't say anything but moved his eyes from me to the lawyer as if I had just spoken nonsense. Is this man being serious?

“I'm sorry Becky, but until he is here, I am not allowed to read the will”

“What kind of stupid rule is that?” I yelled. Before I could ask the idiot to leave, Ephraim had already begun to push him out with strength and anger.

“Miss Becky, you should know that this man isn't supposed to be here too,” the lawyer said the minute he saw Ephraim dragging the gardener out.

“He is my future husband!”

“Who was not recognized by your father? If there is anyone who was recognized as your future husband, it was that man your boyfriend just pushed out” I wanted to speak, but he cut me off immediately,

“If the young man isn't going to stay, then I don't think your so-called boyfriend should too. Until you agree to my terms, I won't be reading any will” he picked up his bag.

“What is this nonsense?” Grandma asked, pissed, “I have been quiet all because I wanted to listen to what he had to say and go back to my room, only for my time to be spent like this? Attorney Collins, if you want Ephraim out, I'll help you with that. Just read the will”

“Grandma, you—”

“Shut up!” Grandma yelled at me before I could even speak, causing me to jerk slightly.

“Guards! Lock that door, now!” She ordered, and the guards got into action so quickly that I wasn't given time to speak.

“Grandma, that's my future husband!”

“When we are done with the will, you can meet your future husband, now, we are in the present so deal with it” she snapped. I know it was because she just lost her only son that was why she was that way, but it was rude to lock my boyfriend outside.

I stood up ready to go open up for Ephraim when I heard the banging on the door when Grandma spoke up again,

“If you dare open that door, I'll ask the lawyer to take the will statement away till you are back in your right mind” She turned to the guards and yelled,

“I didn't say take him outside the house, I meant outside the compound. He is inconveniencing my meeting!”

The guards walked out, and I could hear shouts and growls from outside. Ephraim must be so angry right now. I turned from the door to the lawyer,

“Let's make this really snappy," I said, as I wanted to go meet Ephraim as soon as possible.

The lawyer cleared his throat before finally pulling out the will testament.

“Good day, family of Mr. Smith Jones, this is the will statement of Mr. Smith before he died. His last will was written on the 22nd of October 2022.

A frown formed on my face. That was the day before his death. Why did he have to add to his will? Did he decide to give that gardener the field to cater for the rest of his life?

“All landed properties home and abroad now belong to the JX orphanage home. My companies should be sold, and the money would be remitted to JX orphanage homes also. The mansion belongs to my mother, Grandma Smith, and Tyler, who she has taken as her own grandson. Becky should be sent out of the mansion if she refuses to marry Tyler because she does not belong there. Her bank accounts should remain frozen—”

“What the fuck is this?!?” I yelled as I stood to my feet. I didn't think I could hear any more of his nonsense. My father would never write that kind of will.

“And who the fuck is Tyler?!?” I asked, already pissed.

“Your gardener” The lawyer replied, and it was as if my body were burning in anger. The gardener caused father's will to change into punishment?!?

“That will is fake!” I roared in anger. The lawyer moved closer and showed us father's signature and stamp.

“What the fuck!” I snapped as my eyes shot daggers at my father's lawyer. No wonder he was so adamant in making sure the fucking gardener comes before we began.

“But….” The lawyer added, making me squint my eyes at him,

“But? But what?”

“But if Becky gets married to Tyler with Grandma's blessing, all the companies should be handed over to her as the only child of Mr. Smith Jones along with her husband, Tyler. The landed properties and estates should be under the names of the couple, Becky and Tyler. Everything would and could only go to Becky if she agrees to marry Mr. Tyler and stay married to him”

All because of Tyler? Everything would be taken away from me, all because I didn't want to get married to Tyler.

“What is the motherfucking Tyler?!?” I yelled. My chest heaving up and down, my eyes teary, and I looked from the door to the guards. I didn't need to tell them what to do, they rushed out only to come back without him.

“Where the fuck is he?”

“He left”

“This is to begin immediately, so till you make a decision, you will have to step out of the mansion.” The fucking lawyer had to open his mouth.

My hand reached for the throw pillow behind him and threw it at him,

“Idiot!”

“Guards, please escort Miss Becky out of the mansion. Ask her personal maid to get her things out also and make sure she knows her job here is done or else Grandma Smith still needs her around” I heard the lawyer order and my eyes widened.

The stupid guards really walked over to where I stood,

“Ma'am,”

“If you touch me!” I snapped. I looked at my grandma for help, but she looked helpless.

No, no, this cannot be happening to me.
