Chapter Sixty-Two

Two episodes in and I heard her sniffle, my head snapping towards her frame at its highest speed.

"What's wrong bun?" 

"Jughead loves Betty. I love Bughead." She hiccuped.

" Do you?" She looked up at me, her eyes welling with tears.

"Yes, yes, very very much! They're my favorite couple." Her frown morphed into the prettiest toothy grin ever and she opened her arms for a hug.

I hugged her back and changed our position. Her body was lodged between mine from the waist down while her head rested on my chest.

"Cas?" She mumbled.

"Yeah?"

"I want more wine..." 

"No more wine."

"Please? Just for tonight?" She begged and I didn't have the willpower to refuse.

" Maybe." I excused myself and got one from the mini fridge with two glasses, setting them on the bedside stool before hiking up the air cond
