CHAPTER NINE

I was scared, very scared.

What did I do?

King Rio was staring at me.

He was calm, too calm if you ask me and it's freaking me out.

Is this the calm before storm?

I tried to read him but his face was blank, nothing to give him away.

I cleared my throat and bowed

"If there's nothing else Your Majesty, I'll be leaving" I bowed again and turned my back to him.

I should get out of here before he does something evil.

"You think you're brave?"

I turned

"Excuse me?" I was confused

"I said, you think you're brave?" Then he chuckled.

It wasn't humourous, it was sinister.

He vamped and suddenly I was being choked.

"You think you can come into my castle and disrespect me?!" He said tightening his hold.

I shook my head and struggled.

I could taste the salty taste of my tears.

"Let. Go" I managed to say

"Why should I? Don't you want to get out of here? The reason you're here is useless and you want out, but the only way out of here is death. So what do you say butterfly?" He kissed my tears whil
