CHAPTER FIVE

I wore it, I wore the skimpy trash and went towards the dinning room

As I got there, everyone stopped talking

"What the hell?"

"She looks like a whore"

The murmur began, they said so many degrading words that I was close to tears.

I walked to an empty chair and sat down, the least they can do is talk, nothing else.

I caught Ciara smirking

"Poor Anika, you showed your true colours the moment you got here. I knew you were a slut" Ciara said with fake sympathy

"Have you no shame? You're in a castle, not a brothel"

Another bimbo with blonde hair and cobolt eyes said

I scoffed

Hypocrite

They kept on chanting the same thing on and on again until...

"Shut. The. Hell. Up!"

I heard a loud voice

I looked to my right and saw where the noise was coming from.

A stunning black girl with grey black eyes, wow.

"Whatever she wears is none of your business, now shut the hell up unless you want a kiss from my fist!" And with that everywhere was quiet.

Is she someone of importance?

"Thank you" I said smiling slightly

"You're welcome" she responded with a smile of her own

"Ada Simpson" She said sticking out her hand

"Anika Henderson" I responded and shaked her hand

"Nice, you have a pretty hair Anika" Ada said touching my hair

I hate when people do that but ok

"Thank you"

"How did you get here? Were you bought?" I asked

She looked at me in disbelief and then laughed, a very loud one if I may add, earning the looks of all but one glare from her and they were back to minding their business.

"No, God No, I came here willingly" she said wiping tears from her eyes

Willingly? I frowned

"Why?" I asked

"Personal reasons" She said shrugging and I nodded

"Seeing as you asked me that question, you were bought weren't you?"

"Yes I was" I said lowly

"That's crazy" she said

"That's my life" I said

"So you're not interested in the king?" She asked and I scoffed

"As if" I said

"Don't mind me asking, but if you're not interested in the king, why dress this way?" She asked looking at the flimsy piece on my body

"I'm being punished by the King for trying to run away"

"Wait so you're the stupid girl that entered the forbidden gate?" She asked laughing

I rolled my eyes playfully and nodded

"Damnn" yeah yeah

"In my defence, I didn't know it was forbidden" I said and Ada laughed more

"His Royal Highness has arrived with the Prince and Princess" the Royal Announcer announced and we all stood up as they walked in.

We bowed

"Rise" Rio boomed

"You all know why you're here right?" He asked and everyone nodded except me

"Good, thankfully I don't have to talk much" he said and then walked towards his seat with Prince Derrek and Princess Aurora behind him.

When they were seated, we began eating.

I felt someone glaring down my head, it was so intense that I had to look up

King Rio was staring at me

"You" he pointed at me but I refused to acknowledge him

Ada nudged me

"King Rio is talking to you" She whisper yelled and I looked at him again

"Yes your highness" I gritted

"The dress suits you" he said looking at me with a frown

I scoffed

"Thank you your majesty" I said smiling tightly

Princess Aurora looked at me

We resumed with our dinner until one of the girls sitting close to the king touched his arm.

Girl you stupid or what?

She looked at the King and smiled in a sexy way?

What the hell is she doing with her face? Creepy

She whispered something in his ear and the King grinned wickedly and grabbed her.

She smiled again and most of the girls were jealous until...

The king snapped her neck and dumped her body on the table.

We screamed

"Anyone else wants to tell me how they want to be my Queen?" King Rio said with an evil smirk

Prince Derrek chuckled

"If that's all ladies, you're excused for the night"

We scrambled and ran out of there a screaming mess.
