Chandler escorted his wife out of the building and back into his car. They were holding hands and smiling at each other cheerfully.
Chandler drew a metallic black card from his wallet and handed it to her. With raised eyebrows, Vanity looked up at her husband. What was he up to at this point?
“Can you tell me what it's for this time?”
“Go buy whatever you want with it,” he said like a tyrant, making her laugh.
"And what if I want to buy a car?"
“You may purchase as many as you wish. Your husband has money, so don't worry about it and spend as much as you want.”
Hearing those words come out of his mouth, she was tempted to bankrupt her husband. The temptation was simply too great.
“I'll definitely buy anything I like then,” she said with a smile.
“Let's drop her off at the mall,” Chandler said to the driver.
“Be free to do whatever you want because the guards will be with you.”
“I will certainly do that, so work with ease,” she said, kissing him on the lips.
Chandler had his wife dropped off at a shopping mall with a security detail before he left for work. He would not feel safe if he left her alone. He had no idea what she had been through in the past, but she was now his, and he would protect her at all costs.
He knew that having her by his side meant revealing to his enemies that he now has a flaw. He had ruled with an iron fist all these years, and his son was well protected by his parents, so there was no need to be concerned.
But now that he has a woman he can touch and love, he wasn't going to let anyone take advantage of the opportunity to depose him from the throne he had worked so hard to obtain.
Everyone could tell the boss was in a good mood when he arrived at work. This was even worse than the previous days' events. The boss was giddy, as if in love. Was that even possible for a man who had previously failed to be enticed? There were rumors that many ladies were kicked out despite the fact that they were naked.
Many speculated that the boss was either gay or impotent because he had not been with a woman for all of these years.
Chandler entered his office and took a seat. Someone came to pay him a visit as he was busy reviewing the files on his desk. Chandler raised his head and hissed angrily at the visitor.
“Is that how you greet me after not seeing you in a while, brother?” As he approached his brother, Ralph, Chandler's youngest brother, inquired with a smirk.
“I assumed that a busy person, such as our dear superstar, would not have time to spend with his family. So, what exactly are you doing here?” Chandler inquired, his gaze fixed on his younger brother.
“Come on, bro! Do you realize how much I miss you?”
“If you do, then come home frequently rather than just going all over the place in the name of working. Have you not played enough?”
“I'll work a little longer and then retire. What do you think?”
“If you don't want to retire, marry and give our mother a lot of grandchildren,” Chandler joked.
Who didn't know how much their mother adored children? He was fortunate because he had already given them a grandchild, and because of his uniqueness, he was not bombarded with the issue of marrying, which made him breathe, but his younger brothers were not so fortunate.
“Umphh, I'll marry when I find the right person for me. I've been thinking about Vanity, and I believe she would make an ideal bride. Don't you agree, brother?” Ralph would have stopped spouting nonsense if he had known he had touched a sensitive subject.
It wasn't his fault, though, because Vanity was unlike any other woman he'd met, and he finds her fascinating.
Ralph realized something was wrong when he noticed the room temperature dropping and when he looked at his brother, he felt compelled to flee. For many years, he had not seen this frightening side of his brother. What exactly did he do wrong to deserve to see it again?
“Brother, I......”
“She is mine, so stay away from her!” The words came out possessive and through gritted teeth.
Ralph heard every single word and realized he'd made a huge mistake. It was unusual to see his brother in this condition. When he saw him trying so hard to calm that beast inside him, he knew he needed to do something to appease him.
“I was joking, brother. She's not my type, and I'll never touch your people,” Ralph quickly denied before his brother went berserk.
The next thing he saw was a familiar red booklet. He grabbed it quickly and stared at it with his eyes wide open.
He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw what he was seeing. Is it true that this cold man married? He was deeply hurt when he saw the woman he had been secretly crushing on smiling warmly in the picture, but he was willing to let go for his brother. It wasn't every day that his brother took something seriously.
He could see the changes in him, and those eyes told him nothing but the truth. Chandler was in deep with Vanity, and it appears to be deeper than his own. Ralph was only interested in her because she was different, and she completely ignored him whenever he was around her.
She was never as anxious or excited as the others, which piqued his interest, but his brother had managed to snag her.
“Congratulations, bro. “Are our parents aware?” Ralph asked after noticing the date on the certificate.
“It's been an hour since we got married and I don't want mother all over her yet so they don't know and let's keep it that way for now,” Chandler replied, not sounding as irritated as when he yelled at his younger brother.
“Brother, do you realize how dangerous it is for her to be with you?” Ralph was glad but also concerned. His brother was not your average person.“I will protect her with my life; don't worry about it. Nobody is going to hurt or take her away from me!” Chandler declared that he was already planning and strategizing how to deal with people who would be foolish enough to do something like that in his head.“Does she know anything about you? She's a good girl and all that. Andcan youtouch her?”“You don't have to worry about that; just wait to hold your niece when the time comes,” Chandler said with a smile on his face.He had been working hard every night, and he didn't believe that after all of his efforts, he would not achieve the results that he desired. When he saw that nasty smile on his brother's face, he knew he had found a woman he could touch, and as a starved person, he felt sorry
She had no idea what had woken her up in the middle of the night. This was not something she did on a regular basis. Vanity was raised and trained to do things in a systematic manner. She lived her life as if she were some kind of robot from the moment she remembered her own memories, which was around twelve years old, and she didn't feel any remorse for it.She understood why her parents treated her like that as a child born into a powerful family. She was a daughter, and she had a responsibility that did not allow her to embarrass her family. She was taught about etiquette and other ridiculous things from a young age so that she would not be an embarrassment when she faced society and married her fiancé.She was engaged to Norman Sheppard when she was quite young; he was a handsome young man who she admired. She didn't want to embarrass him, so she worked hard to be someone who will be by his side when the time comes.
THREE DAYS LATERShe was so exhausted from running that she couldn't help but stop at the cliff's edge to catch her breath. The only place she could think of to flee after being pursued for three days with nowhere to go was here.In her hour of need, she had summoned that man, the man she had been engaged to since she was a child, the man she had given her heart to, to come and rescue her from this nightmare. She would not have dared to tell him about her whereabouts if she had known she had been duped by this man and his so-called family. Because of her stupid mistake, she watched nervously and fearfully as he approached her with a snarl on his face. She never imagined a day like this would come. She had nowhere else to run, she had exhausted all options, and the only thing that awaited her was death.“You should be aware that your presence is a hindrance to everything for whi
A group of people sat with sullen expressions in a large sitting room, having some refreshments.Kelly Wagner was unsure whether she should be pleased or concerned about her son's current progress. She was a mother who adored her children, but she adored Chandler even more because she knew there was nothing else she could do for him. It's been a few hours since Chandler's wedding was announced to the family. To be honest, the news surprised everyone because Chandler's situation was not kept a secret in the family, even though it was a taboo subject. No one was allowed to talk about it or they would face family punishment.Kelly found herself silently crying as she reflected on her unfortunate son. When Heidi was born, the entire family rejoiced, but when the curse caught up with him, they realized that there was no hope of ever having another child from him.The Wagner family had a long history and was considered old money. Chandler had no choice but to create a clone to extract blood and cells in order to cure their beloved daughter. He slammed his hand on the desk, enraged. She, too, was a human being; nothing about her screamed clone, so why did they treat her that way?Chandler was a fiery and hot tempered kind of guy, and learning about his wife's background shook him to his core. He knew that if he wanted to know the truth, he had to either kidnap a member of the Drysdale family or question Vanity herself. But by asking her, he would be putting everything on the line, and he didn't want to bring up those bad memories. He'd witnessed her being tormented by her nightmares. He didn't feel good about the potholes in Vanity's life because he was a businessman who was used to having complete control over everything. He now has some information about her clone's identity, but he has no idea how she became a vampire. He deduced from her gibberish that they attempted to kill her and t
Vanity entered the master bedroom quickly and went straight to the bathroom to refresh herself because she was so sticky and sweaty after all that running. She also needed to get rid of the lingering scent of blood on her. Her husband was born with a keen sense of smell.Vanity tossed the clothes into the laundry basket after checking for signs of blood; when she didn't find any, she tossed them and stood beneath the shower head, letting the warm water kiss and caress her body. As she stood in the shower, enjoying the way the water cascaded down her body, she smiled as she looked at the marks her husband left on her body every night. With the frequency with which they had sex, she would have conceived by now if she were a normal woman, but it's too bad she's just a woman who will never be able to hold a baby in her life. She was fated to be alone, which is why she accepted Chandler's proposal despite knowing her true identity. After splashing body wash on her ha
It took him some time to get to her, but it was too late. She didn't want to see him again. He didn't want to kill her; he wanted to keep her alive, study her, and possibly use her as a shield in the future if things went bad with the Drysdale’s.He knew there was no turning back the moment she fell off the cliff. He even searched for her for days, but all he found was blood and shredded clothing. Her body was nowhere to be found; there was no report of a body washing up on the shore, which could only mean she was dead and gone. Her body had been devoured by sea creatures, and no one was going to derail his plans. The clone's death also provided Douglas with something to threaten him with. They were now on the same boat, and their fates were intertwined. When he saw the real Gwen, who had been sleeping for years, he couldn't believe it. They were so similar to each other that they could be mistaken for twins, just like the clone he had been used to.Despit

Even if the wench was no longer alive, she didn't feel any better about the situation. She had been dying to see that person, but she was killed before she could express her rage. She wanted to show her how she was able to get everything back in the end despite having nothing.
