“Brother, do you realize how dangerous it is for her to be with you?” Ralph was glad but also concerned. His brother was not your average person.
“I will protect her with my life; don't worry about it. Nobody is going to hurt or take her away from me!” Chandler declared that he was already planning and strategizing how to deal with people who would be foolish enough to do something like that in his head.
“Does she know anything about you? She's a good girl and all that. And can you touch her?”
“You don't have to worry about that; just wait to hold your niece when the time comes,” Chandler said with a smile on his face.
He had been working hard every night, and he didn't believe that after all of his efforts, he would not achieve the results that he desired.
When he saw that nasty smile on his brother's face, he knew he had found a woman he could touch, and as a starved person, he felt sorry for Vanity. How was she going to survive this beast, that cute and frail person?
“Then I'll bring a gift later tonight.”
Ralph left the building after another ten minutes of conversation. As someone who had his dreams dashed, he decided to wallow in his own misery and hope for a happy smile to appear when he saw Vanity later that day.
Vanity was going crazy at the shopping mall, looking at the price tags. She didn't even flinch when she bought what she liked. She was going to do it because he had stated that she could use the money.
The price tags were hurtful to her own bank account, but she felt relieved because she was spending her husband's money.
As a newlywed, she needed to purchase some gifts. She didn't know when he'd take her to see his family, but she needed to prepare ahead of time. So, after purchasing her personal items, Vanity went on another shopping spree.
She began by purchasing clothing for her husband's son. Now that she was the stepmother, this child was going to be hers. She was well aware that because she was a vampire, she would never be able to have children, but her husband was not.
He already had one right, so he wasn't supposed to be irritated with her in the future. She couldn't help but sigh deeply as she thought about this bridge she'd have to cross again in the future.
She'd seen Chandler's son three times, and he was at least friendly to her. She began selecting clothes for a ten-year-old using her memories. She paid for a number of brand clothes after selecting them. Despite the fact that she knew he lacked nothing, she was ecstatic.
Vanity spent the entire day shopping, not only for Heidi Chandler's son, but also for his brothers Kurt and the superstar Ralph. She didn't forget about the parents or grandfather.
The bags were returned to the car by the guards, and Vanity was brought back to the mansion.
An excited Vanity skipped down the corridor, humming a song and twirling around like a ballerina, which surprised the butler, who was concerned that the young madam would slip and fall. If something like that happens, no one will be able to keep their heads on their shoulders.
“Madam, you should walk carefully and stop dancing around,” the old butler advised, and Vanity chuckled.
“I'm sorry, Grandpa; I'll stop right now. Is there anything to eat, I'm hungry?” she asked after reaching an agreement.
“Yes, I will prepare the food right away.”
Vanity went upstairs to change her clothes before coming downstairs to eat some snacks. She couldn't eat a large meal because she needed to wait for her husband to return home so they could eat together. She had discovered a feeder and there was no way she was going to let that chance go.
Vanity sat on the couch after dinner, watching movies to pass the time. She was able to tell the moment her husband arrived home because of her hearing abilities, so she jumped up from the couch and dashed outside.
She was unconcerned about the maids who were strewn about the house. She had missed him so much and all she wanted to do was be in his familiar embrace.
Chandler's heart almost stopped when he saw her sprinting towards him in that huge t-shirt that exposed those pale long legs. He wished he could close his brother's eyes at that moment. Nobody was supposed to see that much skin.
But it was the fact that his little wife was not wearing slippers that enraged him the most.
She simply lunged at him, and he caught her. All of the rage vanished when he saw her giggling like a child. That smile, that joy, was all that mattered. She encircled his waist with her long legs. He could tell she was wearing those short shorts; at the very least, she was dressed.
She kissed him all over his face while wriggling, which made him laugh. After all, coming home to this wasn't so bad. “Um, uh!” Those sounds disrupted their happy moment, and for the first time, Vanity wished to erase someone. When Vanity turned to see where the sounds were coming from, she blushed with embarrassment.
“Hubby, why didn't you warn me that your brother was coming?” she asked quietly.
Chandler gave Ralph a cold look when he saw how embarrassed she was. How could he ruin the moment he was having?
“He came bearing a present. Do you want it?”
She quickly nodded her head and attempted to stand up, but he simply tightened his grip.
“I'll carry you inside because you forgot your slippers,” Chandler explained.
When Vanity looked down at her feet, she felt a little down. With her excitement, she had left her slippers in the sitting room. Should she just wear closed slippers inside for the time being? She should research them and purchase a few.
She let her husband carry her inside because she didn't mind; after all, she wanted to be in his embrace. What did it matter if there was someone else? After all, they were still in their honeymoon period.
Ralph had a genuine smile on his face when he saw how deep these two were. Vanity was someone who openly expressed her emotions; she found it difficult to lie.
This was something he had noticed whenever she was questioned about her past, so they dropped the subject. They didn't want to bring back memories she had worked so hard to forget. Starting over could be helpful.
Chandler led his little wife into the bedroom and washed her feet before forcing her to change her clothes. She complained a lot, but he still won after spanking her ass twice and making her very docile. He had appeased her after that by coaxing her with a series of feathery kisses and a very satisfying oral.
He had to carry her back to the dining room, where the three of them ate dinner and discussed a variety of topics. Ralph presented Vanity with his gift, which made her happy as if she hadn't spent millions in a single shopping trip.
Vanity also returned the favor with a gift she had purchased earlier while shopping. Ralph was overjoyed after receiving something from a woman he would never see again in this life. At the very least, he has something from her; he will now work on forgetting her.
Chandler got his gift later, when the two went back to their room. When he saw what she had bought for him, despite the fact that it was his money, he rewarded her with a lot of hard work, which made her curse him the next morning when the young woman failed to even leave the bed.
She made a mental note not to buy her husband anything if he was going to reward her with something like this; every time but she had a problem: she simply loves him too much. She had a lot of things she wanted to do for him, and too much lovemaking wasn't going to stop her.
She intended to build a lot of stamina, and exercise would be a good place to start. Her weekend runs, which she had been doing during some hunts, were no longer sufficient; she needed to up her game. She was reminded of what she had forgotten as a result of that thought. She intended to ask him to leave.
She was going to eat her own husband unless she got some blood. She wasn't in any hurry to turn him into one of her kind just yet.
Vanity closed her eyes again and dozed off. After all, she had nothing to do.
She had no idea what had woken her up in the middle of the night. This was not something she did on a regular basis. Vanity was raised and trained to do things in a systematic manner. She lived her life as if she were some kind of robot from the moment she remembered her own memories, which was around twelve years old, and she didn't feel any remorse for it.She understood why her parents treated her like that as a child born into a powerful family. She was a daughter, and she had a responsibility that did not allow her to embarrass her family. She was taught about etiquette and other ridiculous things from a young age so that she would not be an embarrassment when she faced society and married her fiancé.She was engaged to Norman Sheppard when she was quite young; he was a handsome young man who she admired. She didn't want to embarrass him, so she worked hard to be someone who will be by his side when the time comes.

Chandler had no choice but to create a clone to extract blood and cells in order to cure their beloved daughter. He slammed his hand on the desk, enraged. She, too, was a human being; nothing about her screamed clone, so why did they treat her that way?Chandler was a fiery and hot tempered kind of guy, and learning about his wife's background shook him to his core. He knew that if he wanted to know the truth, he had to either kidnap a member of the Drysdale family or question Vanity herself. But by asking her, he would be putting everything on the line, and he didn't want to bring up those bad memories. He'd witnessed her being tormented by her nightmares. He didn't feel good about the potholes in Vanity's life because he was a businessman who was used to having complete control over everything. He now has some information about her clone's identity, but he has no idea how she became a vampire. Vanity entered the master bedroom quickly and went straight to the bathroom to refresh herself because she was so sticky and sweaty after all that running. She also needed to get rid of the lingering scent of blood on her. Her husband was born with a keen sense of smell.Vanity tossed the clothes into the laundry basket after checking for signs of blood; when she didn't find any, she tossed them and stood beneath the shower head, letting the warm water kiss and caress her body. As she stood in the shower, enjoying the way the water cascaded down her body, she smiled as she looked at the marks her husband left on her body every night. With the frequency with which they had sex, she would have conceived by now if she were a normal woman, but it's too bad she's just a woman who will never be able to hold a baby in her life. It took him some time to get to her, but it was too late. She didn't want to see him again. He didn't want to kill her; he wanted to keep her alive, study her, and possibly use her as a shield in the future if things went bad with the Drysdale’s.He knew there was no turning back the moment she fell off the cliff. He even searched for her for days, but all he found was blood and shredded clothing. Her body was nowhere to be found; there was no report of a body washing up on the shore, which could only mean she was dead and gone. Her body had been devoured by sea creatures, and no one was going to derail his plans. The clone's death also provided Douglas with something to threaten him with. They were now on the same boat, and their fates were intertwined. When he saw the real Gwen, who had been sleeping for years, he couldn't believe it.
