Cynthia’s P.O.V.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down while looking at the enormous building of Lombart & Lombart.

I was here two weeks ago for business and now I am here today to join the company as the CEO’s executive assistant.

I couldn’t deny that I wasn’t this nervous when I joined Mr. Silva.

I didn’t want to think about the reason because I knew that it was Nathan Lombart who had caused my nervousness.

“Six months, Cynthia. Within six months, you will be able to know if you want to stay here or go back. You promised him six months, and that’s it. Strictly professional, nothing personal.” I muttered to myself, but it didn’t help me this time.

“Ms. Williams!” I flinched and looked at the person exclaiming my name with a startled expression.

“What are you doing here? You should be at your desk by now.” She continued coming towards me with a surprised and concerned look.

“Hi, Daisy. I…. I was on a personal call. That’s why I didn’t enter.” I muttered a lie after greeting

    Nathan’s P.O.V.“Hey, Fiona.” I greeted Fiona while descending the stairs when I saw Theo and Fiona entering the living room with a maid.“Wow! The prince of the city honored us with a dinner, huh?” Fiona taunted me in reply, looking at me with disdain.“Hey, don’t provoke the prince, okay?
