The brightening of the day didn’t fill me with happiness as everyone would think. Instead, I was filled with dread. What would happen next? What would be on the news next?

I pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration. Although I threatened her but she seemed so composed even after I did that. It threw me off balance and it made me think there is something she might do to bring my attention back to her.

She won’t succeed.

I swung my leg to the other side of the bed. It was a surprise how the week came by and now it is weekend already.

Some part of me couldn’t help but think of what Dalia would be doing now. Although it’s been a week since I last saw her. I’ve been keeping tabs on her though as Jeremy never fails to give me new update about her. It seemed like he cared for her more than just an employee. He was like a big brother to her.

I scoffed. I am sure she hasn’t told him anything about the pregnancy…
