"What do we do now?" Brian asked after the council arseholes had left, and I did not know what to say. I was mad, too, and I did not understand why the guy would act cool after seeing what we showed him.

"He doesn't speak for the council. He still has to run it by them," Randolph said, and Ian shook his head.

"Unless it becomes their problem, they would not do shit about it. These people are as selfish as hell." He said, and I knew he was telling the truth from how the guy spoke; it indicated they would not do anything about it. We had to come up with our plan.

"We have three packs together," Randolph pointed out, " And the hunters will help us. Our chances are not that bad."

Ian shook his head.

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Hunters might not be of help unless they have the same remedy the hunters of the past had. Silver only slows them down. Jasper and I are more susceptible to silver because of our werewolf genes. Pure breeds can't be killed with silver whic
