Chapter 15: Prison

Athena's face was contorted with a mixture of emotions as the two guards held her arms tightly, their handcuffs causing some pain in her wrists. She glanced toward the guard posted at the door, trying to appear composed, but inside, her heart was racing, and her mind was flooded with thoughts as she scanned the hallway. The mechanical sound of the door echoed through the corridor, and she felt a faint vibration on the floor as the heavy metal door slowly opened. As they continued to walk forward, all the inmates and some guards stared at her with fierce gazes, making Athena feel as if their eyes were melting her body. The prison fell into a heavy silence as the guard guided her to her new cell.
