Nothing in Seoul

Today is the fourth day since autumn came to Incheon. Since Incheon is a dense city dominated by large buildings, autumn is not much felt by the residents there, because there are not many trees in downtown Incheon. Justin's black car was speeding down the downtown highway, ahead of the slower-moving vehicles. Every now and then the man who works as an actor looks at the watch in his left hand.

Soon the afternoon came, and he had to quickly look for the creature he had just found clues through a dream a few days ago.

"Damn it, because of last night's trouble, I had to be in this mess," Justin cursed, slamming his round steering wheel to the right, and driving down a quiet lane to Seoul. In his dream, there is a picture of the city of Seoul which is dominated by a very dense dark energy. This time the dream says that Justin must hunt the creature in Seoul.

"Is the nine-tailed fox in Seoul now?" he muttered, accelerating the car through the towering yellow lights.

For a moment Justin pulled over and took the device that was originally on the dashboard. His cell phone had been ringing five minutes ago, Justin knew it was Norman, but he was still too lazy to pick it up because he knew what Norman was going to say.

"What took you so long!" Norman protested that Justin had just responded to his call.

"Hm? What's wrong?"

"Tomorrow there is a press conference at ten o'clock! You have to be ready and make up the words we discussed earlier," he babbled from across the phone.

"Yes," Justin briefly then ended the call unilaterally. Norman is certainly swearing at Justin.

"It's so hard being a handsome person," he muttered, brushing his hair back with his fingers. Then he drove back to downtown Seoul to confirm the existence of the nine-tailed creature he was looking for.

Seoul, which initially had a population of more than ten million, in 2022 Seoul experienced a population crisis until it fell to nine point four million. However, Seoul is still a bustling city. Even today Justin's car was stuck in traffic after entering Seoul. Justin felt that he did not feel the energy of the evil being around him. He felt that Seoul was very clean and far from the evil energy of human hunting creatures.

Justin was confused here, his dream about the nine-tailed creature was wrong. He felt that Seoul was very clean of human-hunting creatures.

"What a day! Why are you so unlucky? Met a crazy girl, and now the dream prediction of the creature is wrong," Justin banged his forehead against the car's steering wheel. He was forced to find a shortcut to avoid traffic jams and returned to Incheon.

It's already seven o'clock at night, Justin goes to his apartment, he remembers that he said goodbye to Karina before, that he could not come home, but Justin had only been gone for two hours and now he's back, a bit embarrassed indeed.

"So annoying to have to meet that girl again, ah!" annoyed, slamming the car door that was parked in the basement of the apartment. His steps were very loose as he entered the elevator. "Actually where is that damn creature? How could he let me look for him around Korea? Who does he think he is?"

"Annyeong," said the little boy who passed Justin after getting out of the elevator. "Annyeong," Justin replied smiling, he knew the boy was a neighbor in his unit.

"At least there are normal people today," he said rubbing his chest, remembering today's very bad luck streak. But still, Justin will soon meet Karina in his apartment unit.

And sure enough, when he opened the door, Justin was immediately greeted by Karina who was grinning behind the door. Justin just wanted to cry. Justin could see Karina carrying a tray on which a bowl of soup was still hot, and also a glass of orange juice. "What are you doing this for?" Justin asked walking in, Karina trailing behind him. "Isn't it allowed for the future wife to make dinner for her husband-to-be?"

Hearing that, Justin sighed and glared at Karina. "It’s only a fake marriage, don't ever think this marriage is real, please."

"Whether it's fake or real, I'm still your future wife. Who knows if one day I'm your soul mate?" Karina said again, this time coming closer and placing the tray on the table. "Yeah, whatever," Justin grabbed the cold juice and gulped it roughly because he was thirsty. "My husband is very smart," added Karina, suddenly Justin who was drinking choked to spit out the juice that had entered his mouth. "Eh, my husband why?" Karina asked taking a tissue and wiping Justin's chin.

"I'm not your husband, don't call me that," Justin stared blankly at the woman in front of him. What he stared at was a boxy smile. With this close distance, Justin realized that this woman was gorgeous, but he immediately dismissed his thoughts and took Karina's hand away from his chin.

"I want to go to bed."

"Have your dinner first," Karina asked. Justin didn't respond to Karina and chose to go to his room. Karina was silent, staring at the bowl of soup on the table with a sad look, she walked away from her original place towards the room, but suddenly Justin shouted, "bring the food here," he said at the door. Karina turned excitedly, took the tray, and trotted over to Justin. Overjoyed, Karina tripped over her own feet while running. Justin was surprised and spontaneously caught the tray while catching Karina's body.

"Almost," Justin breathed a sigh of relief. While Karina herself was stuck in Justin's arms who caught her. The scent of perfume that emanates from Justin's body is very masculine and will not get tired of being inhaled for as long as possible. When he realized his position, Justin let go of Karina and let the woman still staring at him. "You want to ruin my face with this hot soup?" Justin asked curtly, Karina froze. "Aigoo!" Justin complained and went straight to his room carrying a tray.

In his room, Justin ate Karina's soup which turned out to be delicious and suited Justin's taste buds. "But what about those evil creatures?" his monologue after finishing his bowl of soup. He was honestly still wondering, why couldn't he sense the nine-tailed fox's existence in Seoul.

"I'll just sleep, tomorrow if I'm late Norman will be nagging like an old grandma," Justin pulled the blanket and closed his eyes.

Outside the room, Karina was dancing with joy for two reasons, the first because Justin hugged her, and the second because Justin ate her cooking.

"God, if this marriage isn't fake, I'm sincere, I'm willing," Karina said to the room that Justin had shown earlier.

"We’ll see Justin! You will fall in love with me!" she added slamming into the gray bed. Fate is indeed unpredictable, who would have thought that Karina would meet her idol, even get married? Even if it was just a fake marriage.
