“I almost killed my sister’s mate,”

Bernardo turned to me.

“But you didn’t,”

I told him. He shook his head.

“If you hadn’t been there, if you hadn’t stopped me, I would have killed him,”

“You didn’t kill him, Bern. You could have even when I told you not to. You stopped because you could,”

I walked towards him and placed my hand on his chest.

“Don’t you get it? He could be your brother too! I almost killed Sophie’s mate and possibly your only family,”

He let out. I wasn’t really sure that the man was my family. How can he be and why did he leave the Crimson Moon if he was really my family?

“We don’t know that yet and I think you still have the chance to fix things. He’s still alive. You should go talk to her,”
