Cassandra's POV

Sinclair slammed the door behind him and the tension in the room eased off. I turned to Rhys, before my lips parted to speak but he took the words from my mouth.

"I am fine. It's just a few punches. It's not the first time we have fought." He hissed. Worry grew on my face. He didn't look good, and he was also a public figure.

I had a lot of questions to ask. It felt like there was something they were hiding from me...

"What about your face?" I took a step forward. Rhys' jaw clenched and he brushed past me still irritated

"I will just stay away from cameras for a while." He retorted, marching towards the bathroom door. He looked irritable. I had a feeling the reason he was fighting with Sinclair was because of me, but I was curious about a statement Sinclair mentioned. Sinclair knew the reason Rhys decided to disappear.

I ran after him ....

"Why were you fighting?" I hurriedly ask. Rhys stopped at the door. His

  • Accidentally Married To The Right Von Duvall    69 - I am not jealous

Cassandra's POV I have never been more ashamed of myself. I didn't know which one mortified me more, the fact that I almost gave in to him last night, knowing he was thinking of another woman or what just happened in the shower. And the painful truth was that I loved every second of it. It felt wrong in every way but what it made me feel was truly terrifying. The shower continued to wash down on me but it couldn't wash away my shame and embarrassment. The subtle pausing ache between my legs was the biggest testament. The most horrifying fact was the throbbing ache that persisted there. He got his release and left me wrecked and devastated in the worst ways. It was like having an appetiser only for the next meal not to come. After a long agonising shower, hoping to wash away my shame. My skin had a reddish tint from being under warm water for so long, I looked like a braised piece of meat. The door leading to the bedroom creaked slowly, and I peeked into th

  • Accidentally Married To The Right Von Duvall    68 - Shame and pleasure

Cassandra’s POVMy breath hitched as the cold water sizzled down my skin. Trickling down my head leaving me completely soaked but still heated from our earlier confrontation. My chest heaved as I caught my breath. My chin was propped high, and his fingers dug into it as I stared at him without batting an eyelid. The cold water ran down my shoulders, slid through my hair, and soaked the fabric of my nightie until it clung like a second skin. "If anyone is going to have a heart attack, it's you, Gramps." I taunted back and his finger dug deeper. His breath fanned against my face; it carried a faint scent of morning breath, but I didn't find it repulsive in the least way, as it should. "You are really pushing it, Sunshine." He hissed. I smirked at him, not bothered by the proximity. "It's not a lie, you.." I knew I was pushing, but by calling him gramps. He was just 30 and didn't even look it, but at this point, I have lost my reason. The rest of my wo

  • Accidentally Married To The Right Von Duvall    67 - Begging to be punished

Cassandra's POV I fucking hate this man. God he made me act in ways that make me cringe. I really couldn't believe I almost had sex with him last night knowing fully well he was thinking of someone else. My slippers were long gone. My bare foot touched the cold floor directly. "CASSANDRA!!" I heard his voice boom behind me, and I sprinted as if my life depended on it. I ran up the stairs, pausing for a moment to catch my breath. My heart was racing in my chest like it was about to explode. I didn’t stop running until the stairs burned my calves and my lungs felt like they were about to give out Alaric stormed out of the living room. His face was dark with a malicious smirk on his lips which told me too much I didn't want to know. "What do you think you are doing Sunshine?" He drawled walking towards. "A pregnant woman shouldn't be running around like that." He spat, his lips twitched as our eyes locked in a heated gaze Stood up straight, then gave hi

Cassandra's POV Who was she? I was curious who the woman was who could make a man like a complete mess. He broke the kiss, my eyes fluttered, dazed by the sight of him Even in this state he was alluring. His shirt had some loose buttons at the top, and his dark hair was ruffled to the side. The dim light contrasted against him, making him look nothing less than a demon of lust, and my core cried desperately for the demon I should not want. He was thinking of another woman and I was too twisted to acknowledge it. I should have shoved him then but...bloody hell he was a succubus My chest heaved trying to catch up with what was happening. He didn't give me the chance to think. His lips were soon on me again, buried in my neck, kissing and nibbling down to the cleavage of my nightie. I was beyond turned on by this point it felt like I was the drunk one. He parted my legs with a simple movement and soon his crotch was pressed against my wet folds. My nightie had r

Cassandra's POV I froze the moment his arms wrapped around me, pressed so tightly against his chest I could barely breathe. My heart thumped wildly, the sudden closeness sending a shiver down my spine. The bowl shattered against the floor, apples rolling away into the dark like they were trying to escape too. His grip tightened as he pulled me closer, I didn't understand why he was suddenly hugging me until it struck. Then the smell hit me, my scrunched up perceiving the strong pungent scent of alcohol. Sharp enough to give me the urge to throw up. Mixed with cigarette smoke and something bitter underneath it all.My body stiffened, This wasn’t how Alaric smelled. A small smirk crossed my lips. He would rather get drunk than face me. How admirable of him.His arms were locked around my waist, too tight, careless in a way he never was. His forehead pressed into my shoulder, and his breath ghosted over my neck unevenly. Tracing warmth down my skin.“I’m sorry…” he murmured

  • Accidentally Married To The Right Von Duvall    64 - Rhys's secret crush

Cassandra's POV "Do you know when he will be back?" I asked despite knowing the possible answer. She shook his head. "No madam, only his assistant Nathan is aware of his schedule. Maybe I can contact Nathan for you to inquire about his schedule." My eyes sparkled for a moment. So his assistant's name was Nathan. "Can you do that?" I asked him, trying to hold back my excitement. Gregory gave me a faint smile before he nodded. "Of course, I have Nathan's number. I will contact him for you," Gregory replied politely. I nodded then turned towards the bedroom. My appearance wasn't fancy at the moment. I was barefoot with a bird nest on my head and I think I was also drooling too "Will you be having breakfast in your room or downstairs?" He enquired politely. I stopped for a moment before replying "I think I will have breakfast in the garden. If that is possible, I saw there is a cute gazebo there. " I replied. Staying in the room was a bit depressing.
