Chapter 57

Third person's point of view,

Riya was contemplating what to say, she wants Elizabeth to understand that she genuinely cares for her. But she was not sure if Elisa would understand her. 

Just like Riya Elizabeth was also thinking about what Riya's reason was for lying to her. She wanted everything to be okay with Riya.

"Answer me Riya, Why are you silent?" Riya's voice was rough and demanding.

Riya took a deep breath before lifting her eyes. There were small drops of tears at the end of her eyes. Her hands were trembling.

"What do you want to know Lisa?" She was resolute about this. "I'll tell you everything you want to know" 

"Why did you lie to me?"

"I didn't mean to, But I did it to protect you," Riya says.
