Unexpected Meeting

Stage set number 1. The crowd was quiet and not quite as rowdy as it should be later when the drinks start kicking in. Bailey use to tremble in fear every time her name was called to take stage. The thought of performing while everyone sat back in their chairs used to make her legs shake. Now it was just another night at work. She come to enjoy the simpleness of being up there. She felt free. Sure there were always some customers that seemed to only show up to poke fun but their opinions didn't bug her like they use to. She was free up there. Sometimes she would get so caught up in the music nothing else mattered. She felt fierce and untouchable. Yes, it's true, this was a gentlemens club but the dancers had all the power. When customers walked into the building they were on her turf and she damanded respect.

That soft, quiet, timid girl had finally found her voice and she carried herself with pride. She could choose who she sat with, how she looked, and how hard she planned to work every night. Some men were intimated by her newfound personality but those men were weak.

The stage was lined with mirrors. Which Bailey found comforting, even with her back turned to the crowd she could still see everything behind her.

The outfit Katrina had helped her pick out was new. She had never seen it in these lights before. "Wow" she thought to herself. It was a complement to both sides of her. Her top was black studded with sparkling stones that come around her neck like a chocker. Her cleavage spilled over out of her top in a seductive fashion. Making your eyes beg for more but not revealing anything precious. Her thong matched the outfit perfecctly with rhinstones positioned ever so gracefully on her hips. Black was her go to color. She usually went with a more edgy look but the way she sparkled in the mirror made her second guess wearing basic outfits ever again. Even if tonight was a bust she felt more beautiful than ever. Nothing could top how great she felt wearing this outfit!

"You should go tip her" Katrina tells Rick. "Look how great she looks! I had to make her buy that outfit but it was definatly worth it." She gives Rick a quick nudge. "Please! I swear she will never wear it again if we don't. You know B. Miss Plain Jane" she laughed. Rick hadn't said a word. " She does look pretty doesn't she. Here you take it for me. Any of the other girls see me up there I will have to beat them away just so you girls got somewhere to put your feet up" He chuckled.

Katrina gracefully walks across the room to the front of the stage. All eyes are on her and she knows it. Katrina was the most requested dancer at the club. She was tan, blonde and an hourglass figure that could knock the socks off of a blind man. Everyman wanted her....even some of the women. She took the folded up bills Rick had given her and without missing a step threw them on stage as she walked by. Daring not to take anymore attention from Bailey on stage.

"Wow that was a smooth move" Jack thought to himself and he wanted the girls blow each other a kiss in the air as the blonde walked away.

There.....There it is! The sunflower tattoo. It was Bailey! He had paid to have her favorite flower tattooed on her forearm one spring break. That was the last summer they spent together and here she was. Standing right in front of him. He stood up to tip her on stage but the commotion had gained others attention as well. More people were following the other dancers lead. His brows furrowed and his cold eyes glared. Security wasn't needed if anyone made a wrong move he wouldn't think twice about killing them on the spot.

Jack waited until the crowd at the stage died down. He wanted to tip her. After all he owed her that much even if she never spoke to him again. He dug in his pockets to see what he had on him. Jack found the hundred dollar bill that he set aside. He was going to use this money to aid his habit during the work week. "Damn it!" he scuffed. It would come down to this wouldn't it. He left her side to feed the beast within but never felt satisfied. The beasts hunger grew with every passing week and it never was enough. He was faced with the same decision that tore them apart. Be addicted or loved. He never thought he could be loved but fate placed them in the same place at the same time. Will this decision be any differnt than the last?

"F*ck it" he motioned for the waitress. "Could you please change this into ones for me please" he asked. "Sure thing! Anything else I can get for you? Would you like another beer?" she asks. "Water please" Jack responds.

"Yes! This stage set is almost complete" she thought to herself. Out of the corner of her eye she notices the man she locked eyes with earlier on her way to the DJ booth. He only wore blue jeans and a T-shirt with some work boots that looked like he dusted them off before coming in. His face was still familair but she couldn't place where she had seen him before. She would have remembered if she had met him here. She always remembers the customers she finds attractive even though she never acts on her thoughts. Most of the men that frequent these establishments either look like pervs or like some frat boy looking to score a good time. As he approached she turned his way and smiled but his eyes quickly darted away. Much to her surprise the mystery man throws a wad of cash at her. Dollars where falling through the air as if snow was falling down all around her. She wanted to thank him put he had turned and returned to his seat almost as soon as the cash left his hand.

"OMG B! That was one hell of a first set! Told you guys couldn't resist a redhead!" Katrina said with a wink. "Shut up! It's probably just this outfit you forced me to wear"

Bailey grabbed Katrina's arm as she went to walk past. "Look at this" as she passes her one of the bills from her stage set. [SUNFLOWER...SPRING BREAK...2012]

Katrina- "And....what's this suppose to mean? People write on money all the time Bailey. Just yesterday I had one with a smiley face drawn onto it"

Bailey points to her forearm. "Sunflower. I got it on spring break.....in...in 2012"

Katrina- "You probably had to much to drink one night and told one of the waitress's. They always like to get under our skin you know that B"

Bailey- "I guess your right. Skylar is the worst but she isn't on shift tonight. Maybe she told Mia and just messing with me"

Katrina- "See. Makes perfect sense you had a great stage set. Looks like you cashed in about $250. And it's a slow night you know she hasn't made near that in tips"

Katrina walks away without another word and gets back on the floor.

Bailey freshened up and put all her earnings in her locker. However, something about that single dollar bill called to her. Sure she may have told one of her coworkers but it was hardly a topic of conversation. She tried to forget those details about her life. It's true she had never loved anyone the way she once loved Jack but she never spoke of him to anyone. Even Katrina never heard her utter his name. The memories were to difficult to talk about.

Who had given her this dollar bill? Was it an accident or intential? Going through the set in her mind the only person that had tipped her was the guy that disappeared. Could it have been him? Most of the bills were from him and his face was so familiar. Did he know who she was? Was her secrect life about to blasted open for everyone to know? Panic struck her instantly. She was no longer that quiet and timid little girl. She was not going to let this slide. She was going to confront this man! How dare he come to her job and try and use such sensative memories to get her attention. She packed the bill in her pocket book and stormed out onto the floor. He was going to regret messing with her! Even if he did tip an impressive amount of money.
