Chapter 8: Never Give Up!

Briana's eyes widened in shock and utter surprise. "What the hell! You can't do that! Our parents are madly in love with each other, that's a cruel thing to do to two people who are in love! And remember, they are our parents!" She quickly reprimanded him.

Jack smiled sheepishly. "Don't worry, I won't do it, that plan pops up in my mind just after you ask me the question."

"Good!" Briana felt relieved. "Remember, we can't hurt or scheme behind our parents' back no matter what! If you do that, I will never forgive you!" she warned him in advance.

"Don't worry, babe, I swear to God, I won't do it despite the fact that it's the only way for us to be together again," he said solemnly.

"Go now. The longer you stay in my place, the harder it is to say goodbye to you," Brianna said, fighting back tears from falling on her face.

"Let me hug you one last time." Jack said, enveloping her in a tight embrace that lasted a few minutes. "I love you. Always remember that!" he whispered in her ears.
