Bankcruptcy

They were all eating their breakfast when his father ask something.

"You will be graduating this year. What are you planning to do?" He asked while he was looking at Felix.

Felix stop eating and look at his father. He was stunned again while staring at his father for so long. His father even wave his hand in front of him, his eyes blink and yet he still didn't notice his father. So his father reach for a fly swat and about to hit him but he suddenly talk.

"What is it father?" Felix ask as if he didn't understand what his father was asking.

"I am asking what is your plan after your graduation?" His father was looking at him waiting for his answer.

"I am going to find a job immediately." Responded by Felix as if he was been so sure that he will find a job immediately.

"What sort of job are we talking about here?" His father continue asking while he takes a food in his plate and put it in his mouth.

"Just like you dad." Felix quickly answered.

"What?! You want to be a mailman?" Simon was shocked and even got his food out from his mouth when he heard what Felix said.

He wasn't expecting Felix to say that he wanted to apply for a job as a mailman.

Simon was a working in an office but not as a manager but as a mailman. He has been working for 10 years since their business got bankrupt and their company got taken away by the bank.

It started their unfortunate happenings when her wife Betty decided to bring home Felix to their house.

Their house was very big, got a huge backyard and they even have two cars that were parked in their garage. They are very rich and got no problem with money.

Upon bringing home Felix, never they know that it will also be the start of their unfortunate and disastrous happenings to their family.

It was good from the start until it reaches for a couple of months but when he already reaches a year older, Betty and Simon started to get a problem with regards their businesses and then to their company. All of the stocks holder of their company are slowly pulling out their shares one by one and Simon don't even have a choice but to let them to because he can't control their decisions at all.

Simon was standing in front of their company while taking his last glance at it before the bank took it away. His tears fall down from his eyes and wipes it immediately while he was in his way to his car. When he reaches where he park his car, he can't seem to find it. He look around trying to check if he got a wrong parking but he can't really find his car.

And then a lady suddenly approached him.

"Is it your car? The one that was park here earlier?" She asked pointing at the space emptied in the parking lot.

"It has been towed by the two guys earlier." She explain what she saw because she witness it on how they towed his car.

She were also about to park when she saw it.

"What?! What is their grounds on taking my car?" Simon ask with his angry voice tone.

"Why not go to the towing company and check it our for you to be able to get an answer." The woman responded her with suggestion since she also didn't know where they really put it.

"Okay I will do that. Thank you miss." Simon exclaimed and quickly walk his way to the nearest bus stop.

He waited for long until a bus stop where he is and he was about to step his foot on the stair of the bus when the driver suddenly drove the bus away. Simon got fall down from it and he was suddenly  thrown away by what the driver had done.

"What the..?!" He shouted while taking a glance to the bus that gotten far away from his sight already.

He stood up and shook his clothes that has a little bit of dirt.

"What an unlucky day!" He exclaimed as he walked away to look for a cab but it seems he can't even got a cab to drove him home.

He sighed while he decided to sit on the bench that he just saw when he was waving for a cab to give him a lift. But sadly not a single cab stop. He scratched his head so much that made him hurt.

"Ouch!" He exclaimed while he stop.

Betty was carrying Felix while she was singing a song for him to sleep. When he suddenly saw his husband walking his way inside their house and he looks very tired. His suit was not in a good shape and has even dirt everywhere and his hair was not even in order. He can even barely walk.

"Are you alright?" Betty shouted at him confuse and felt weird why his husband looks like a mess.

And then Simon got to see them closer and he sat at the chair outside their house. He gasped and called their maid to give him some water. But no one went outside to serve him.

He called once more, "I'm thirsty, can someone give me some water?!" But still no one came to serve him.

Betty was hesitant to talk but decided to when she saw that her husband was getting mad already.

"H-honey? O-Our maids suddenly packed their bags and left." Betty exclaimed.

Simon widened his both eyes while he takes a glance at her wife who was carrying Felix.

"What did you just said?" Simon asked as if he can't believe what he just heard to his wife.

"T-they left already honey so no one would serve you a glass of water." She continues explaining.

"W-wait I'll ge—-" Betty didn't had the chance to continue what he was about to say that she will be the one to get water when Simon suddenly stood up and slammed their door and got the potted plants near to it and threw it away.

The potted plants went into pieces and was scattered every where. Betty was shocked of what his husband did and she can't even speak a single word. And yet decided to speak when he saw his husband's  indescribable feelings.

"Please calm down honey. Please." Betty trying to calm his husband and tap him in the back while his right hand was carrying Felix.

"They left because we didn't had the chance to give them their wages this month. A-and I-I don't know how to explain to them since I never had the chance to talk to you about it." Betty exclaimed when he saw Simon calm down a little bit.

Simon went back to his chair and sit.

"What is going on?" He asked while staring at nowhere and then to the sky.
