Birthday Disaster

Simon can't seem to understand what is happening to him. He was tired. Been walking his way to their home since he gotten no cab to give him a lift. And he didn't even bother to go to the towing company and ask about his car. He felt sadden and yet mad at the same time. All the things he have done with their life was slowly falling apart.

It started with his company that has been taken away from them. He felt devastated knowing he didn't got the chance to take it back since he doesn't know how to do so.

Betty who was carrying Felix (who was a year older now) while staring at his devastating look of his husband can't help himself but to felt sad. She step closer to him and sit beside him. Then wanted to let him carry Felix but he avoided it using his hand.

"Take that away from me." He exclaimed as if Felix was only a thing for him.

Betty was a little bit shock and very sad with what his husband's reaction and just hug the little Felix in her arms. Simon was being bitter since he had a feeling that all his unlucky happenings was because of that baby whom they brought home with his wife.

He stare at her wife while carrying Felix. She saw in her wife's face the contentment that it has in her while she was carrying Felix nonetheless the opposite feelings he got towards the baby. He didn't want to take the blame to the baby but he just thought about it.

Simon look away and stared at the clear blue sky.

Four Years Later.

Betty was playing in the garden together with Felix who was already a five years old. He've gotten to remember when he reach his first birthday.

When they were at their garden near the pool together with their relatives at their side singing the birthday song while clapping their hands to the birthday celebrant Felix. They were all happy that time. It was a sunny afternoon when they decided to give Felix a birthday party. It was a short notice since Simon had been busy with the company lately. But still Betty made her plan a successful.

Wait—- Not a totally a successful one.

He remembers that day when they are all gathered together in the garden near their pool. They were singing the happy birthday song and was very happy clapping our hands because finally Felix the handsome boy is already turning one.

After they sang the song and Betty and Felix was about to blow both the candle and someone was trying speak with Betty in the group. Betty turned her head to the one who speak up and didn't notice that her hair was already burning with the lit candle on the cake of Felix. One of their relatives saw it and she shouted.

"Bettttyyy! Your hair is burning with fire!" The time stand still while Betty was being shocked and she kinda open her mouth because of shock but can speak a word.

A second that the feeling the world stop and then,

"Ahhhhhh!" Betty was screaming while they are trying to help her put out the fire in her hair.

Betty was stepping back because of nervousness and she never notice that she was about to fell down on the pool. 

The surrounding suddenly stop when Betty hit the edge of the pool and about to fall while carrying baby Felix. All their visitors and relatives were all hang from their places while opening their mouth wide reaching their hands to stop Betty from falling. And before she could splash on the pool, Simon take the initiative to pull Betty from falling but apparently he also fell in the pool with his wife.

As Betty stumbled together with Simon in the pool, Betty suddenly released her grip to baby Felix and it flew in the air. All the visitors didn't mind the two who fell in the pool but their eyes was into Felix who flew in the air.

They were shocked and the time suddenly stood still and the surroundings were stopped for a moment.

And when it came back to reality, Simon and Betty fell in the pool while baby Felix fell in the arms of a visitor (just like throwing of a bouquet that was been held into the arms of the bridesmaids).

They all felt relieved when Felix has been catch?

Not catch but suddenly fell in the arms of their visitor who was trying to reach their hands to help Betty and Simon pull them from falling down. The woman who catches Felix sighed as she was holding him and check on him if he has been hurt. Luckily he isn't.

They were all fascinated by the handsome look of baby Felix and was mesmerized by it not realizing that Betty and Simon was on the pool trying to catch their attention.

"Somebody help us!" Betty scream as she swam to the edge of the pool behind him was Simon.

And Simon hold her so that she won't released her grip to the edge of the pool.

All the visitors turned their head to the pool when they heard Betty screaming. And two man helped them to get up from the pool.

"Where's Felix? Is he okay?" Betty was flustered as she was very worried about Felix when he suddenly flew up in the air when she couldn't control her grip into releasing him.

She saw Felix carrying by a woman and she walks near them. She saw Felix smiled while she was walking and soaking wet.

"Oh you are so naughty, you even smiled at me of what just happen." Betty exclaimed while holding him and let him stand in the chair because she was still dripping in wet because of her falling into the pool.

While Simon was also help by the other two men to get up in the pool and about to step his foot when he suddenly stumbled upon stepping to the grass.

"Ouch! Oh what the—!" He shouted as the visitors where all laughing at him.

"It was so unlucky day! Grrrrrt—!" He continues while the rest of them were laughing so hard.

And their garden was filled of loud laughs from all of them while they continue singing a happy birthday song.
