Josephine’s POV

Inhaling shakily, I stared at my reflection in the mirror as I gripped the bathroom sink for dear life, my hands tremoring with trepidation.

Yesterday, Chief Caruso had informed me that Francesco was now on board, and I had scheduled him for today.

The fact that I was meeting him in ten minutes made me forget how to breathe through my nose. I was literally huffing and puffing as my entire body felt like it belonged to someone else.

My legs had turned into noodles in a fit of panic, rendering me unable to move as I gazed at my frightened self in the mirror.

“You didn't burn the midnight candle during law school for you to break down like this, Jo,” I told myself. “You won't let him break you. You will go outside and get this case done and over with like the boss you are.”

Fluttering my eyes shut, I nodded, as I imagined my therapist reiterating my utterance to me, and before I knew it, my panic gradually reduced to nothing.

It didn't feel like my heart was about t

Francesco's POV “There are no buildings around this area on the map,” Private Investigator Dudley Hemsworth, uttered, as we stared at the computer's screen.I was currently in the police station with my team of private investigators, trying to track Josephine down, via the tracker I'd secretly put in her wristwatch while she slept last night.“We should keep looking,” I uttered, darting the other three private Investigators a look. “You are certain that Ian won't catch up with the fact that he's being tracked, right?”“Yes, sir,” Private Investigator Crawford replied, clicking the mouse. “Wait, I've got a signal around the oak tree. They are somewhere here.”Relief flooded my entire being as I stared at the pulsating red dot on the screen, inwardly hoping we could locate where Josephine was exactly.“You said you don't know who could have done something like this, right?” Dudley asked, taking control of the mouse. “Affirmative,” I replied. “I don't have any sort of rift with anyone.

Josephine’s POV “You can go back inside now,” I told Francesco as we trekked to the parking lot. “I can manage by myself.”“No, I will wait here until you leave,” He replied, and without waiting for my response, he placed the bag of money into my car's trunk.Shaking my head at his defiance, I made to head to the driver's seat and he pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead.“Go safely, my love,” He said, as we disengaged from the one-sided hug.“Thank you, I will,” I replied, before trekking to the driver's side and getting into the car.I couldn't believe that three days had really passed since Sabrina was abducted by that psychopathic jerk.Although I tried to allay my fears with the thought of seeing Sabrina again today, it only worked to an extent as my mind couldn't help but come up with various horrendous envisions and imaginations.Hell, I even had a nightmare about the faceless kidnapper killing Sabrina right in front of me.Or even worse, killing her before I got there,

Josephine’s POV I exhaled heavily as Francesco pulled his Rolls Royce to a stop in front of Alice's apartment, my throat clogging with miserable tears as I thought about the fact that my daughter was truly missing. That Alice wasn't pulling a sick prank on me, and Sabrina had been abducted. In all honesty, I'd be immensely relieved if that was the case, and a part of me couldn't help but hope for that to happen, even though I'd already seen the newspaper publications for my missing daughter. So immeersed was I in my thoughts that I forgot I had to get out of the car, until Francesco opened the door and regarded me with a sympathetic gaze, that did little to reduce the despondency I was feeling at that moment.“Thank you,” I whispered, my voice cracked from all the wailing and crying I'd done on the private jet.“It's no problem, my love,” He replied, taking my hand and helping me out of the car.Wrapping an arm around me, he guided us away from the parking lot into the building of th

Francesco’s POV “Easy, babe,” I said to Josephine, as I helped her into the yacht.“Woah, it's really nice,” She said. “To think I could have missed out on this because of my fear.”Josephine had a phobia for the sea or any other large water body, so she had initially refused to go on the yacht with me.I was surprised when she suddenly told me that she was ready to go on the yacht that morning. We were still returning to America today, but I'd decided to shift out flight till evening, so Josephine and I could spend lots of time together on the yacht.“You know I would have gladly brought the yacht to the house if you wanted,” I uttered. “We have a swimming pool, so we can make it work either way.”“But the feeling wouldn't be the same,” Josephine argued, as we walked to the helm seat, and I turned on the yacht.“Or maybe, I would have built the sea for you then,” I replied, to which she huffed before taking her seat beside me.“So where are we headed?” Josephine asked, to which I sh

Josephine’s POV “The weather is so nice today,” I uttered, as Francesco and I strolled out of the villa.“Yes, it is,” Francesco said, kissing my cheek, which made me giggle. “The cool weather here is one of the many reasons why I like Mauritius.”Today was our last day vacationing in Mauritius, and so, I had asked Francesco to take me on a tour of the city, as we'd spent the past five days, holed up and fucking in the bedroom. It wasn't like I was complaining about it though.“What do you think about a beige and brown theme for the house?” I asked, as we walked to the end of the street. “I think it's perfect, babe,” He replied. “Just like the several hundred colpr combinations you've asked me about in the past hour.”Playfully hitting his chest, I huffed, “Why can't you just help me choose a theme?”“I'm sorry, baby. But it's all up to you,” Francesco said. “You will have to choose a theme on your own, and I trust you to make a good decision.”“You're so annoying,” I muttered, roll

Josephine’s POV “Good morning, baby. How was your night?” Francesco's husky voice wafted into my ears as I squinted my eyes open, sending blood rushing to my feminine parts.“My night was good. How about yours?” I replied with a question of my own.“Hectic,” He replied. “I've been horny for the past five hours. I woke up in the middle of the night with a boner but didn't want to disturb you because you were sleeping.”Immediately, I sat up, my eyes straying down to his boner, which was conspicuous, even though it was sheated by the blanket.“Well, I'm awake now,” I replied, running my tongue across my lower lip as I grabbed his mighty cock, a move that made my pussy pucker with erotic hunger.“You are right,” He said, to which I smiled before moving over to straddle him while pulling down my mesh nightgown.Moving myself up and down his joggers-clad erection, I whimpered as an overpowering tide of sexual hunger crashed right through me, rendering me unable to think about nothing more
