The wedding hall was filled with powerful people.

Business tycoons.

Celebrities.

Media reporters.

Everyone had come to witness the wedding of the most powerful billionaire in the city — Alexander Knight.

Cameras flashed non-stop.

Emily felt nervous as she walked beside Alexander.

Her heart was beating fast.

This world was completely different from the life she knew.

Alexander leaned slightly closer and whispered in a calm voice,

"Just walk beside me."

Emily nodded.

"Okay."

They slowly walked toward the wedding stage.

The priest stood ready.

The guests watched with excitement.

One reporter whispered,

"I can't believe Alexander Knight is finally getting married."

Another replied,

"But who is this girl?"

"No one knows."

Meanwhile…

Outside the wedding hall…

Sophia Blake stood near a large screen connected to the media system.

Her lips curled into a cruel smile.

"Let's begin the show."

She pressed a button on her phone.

Inside the wedding hall

Just as the priest started speaking…

The giant screen behind the stage suddenly turned on.

Everyone looked up in surprise.

Emily turned around.

"What is that?"

Then the video started playing.

Emily’s eyes widened.

The entire hall gasped.

On the screen…

Emily was seen hugging a man.

Another clip appeared.

The same man was holding Emily’s hand.

Then another photo appeared.

Emily and the man looked extremely close.

The hall instantly exploded with whispers.

"Is she cheating on Alexander?!"

"Who is that man?"

"Oh my God!"

Emily’s face turned pale.

"T-this isn't true!"

She looked at Alexander desperately.

"I swear… I don't know what this is!"

Alexander’s face was completely expressionless.

The screen kept playing more photos.

The man in the photos looked like Emily’s secret lover.

The media reporters quickly started recording everything.

"This is a huge scandal!"

Meanwhile…

Sophia stood outside watching everything through her phone.

She laughed softly.

"Perfect."

Back inside the hall

The priest stopped the ceremony.

Everyone stared at Emily like she was a criminal.

Emily’s hands began shaking.

She turned toward Alexander again.

"Please believe me…"

Her voice trembled.

"I have never seen this man before."

The hall became silent.

Everyone waited for Alexander’s reaction.

Would he cancel the wedding?

Would he throw Emily out?

Alexander slowly looked at the screen.

Then he looked at Emily.

A long moment of silence passed.

Then suddenly…

Alexander grabbed Emily’s hand.

The entire hall froze.

He looked directly at the guests and said in a calm but powerful voice,

"I don't care."

The crowd gasped.

Alexander continued,

"Even if these photos were real…"

Emily looked at him in shock.

Alexander finished his sentence slowly.

"She is still going to become my wife today."

The entire hall exploded with whispers again.

But Alexander wasn’t finished.

His eyes turned dangerously cold.

He looked straight at the cameras.

"And whoever is behind this…"

His voice became terrifying.

"I will destroy them."

Outside the hall

Sophia watched the broadcast on her phone.

Her smile slowly disappeared.

"What…?"

Her eyes filled with anger.

"He still married her?!"

She squeezed her phone tightly.

"Fine."

Her voice turned cold and dangerous.

"If this plan didn't work…"

"I'll make a bigger one."

Inside the hall

The priest nervously continued the ceremony.

Alexander placed the ring on Emily’s finger.

Emily’s hands were still shaking.

Then Emily placed the ring on Alexander’s hand.

The priest smiled and said loudly,

"I now pronounce you husband and wife."

The hall filled with applause.

But Emily felt something strange.

Alexander leaned closer to her and whispered softly,

"You should be careful."

Emily looked confused.

"Why?"

Alexander’s eyes were cold.

"Because someone is trying very hard to destroy you."

Emily’s heart skipped a beat.

But before she could reply…

A security guard suddenly ran inside the hall.

He looked terrified.

"Mr. Knight!"

Alexander frowned.

"What is it?"

The guard spoke in panic.

"Someone just kidnapped Mr. Carter from the hospital!"

Emily froze.

"M-my father?!"

Her entire world collapsed again.

And at that exact moment…

Her phone rang.

Emily answered the call with trembling hands.

A dark voice came from the other side.

"If you want to see your father alive…"

Emily’s heart stopped.

The man continued slowly.

"Leave Alexander Knight immediately."

"And come alone."

The call ended.

Emily stood there in shock.

Her father had just been kidnapped.

And she knew exactly who was behind it.

Sophia Blake.

Emily’s hands trembled as she slowly lowered the phone.

Her mind had gone completely blank.

Her father… kidnapped?

Just a few minutes ago she had gotten married.

And now this.

"Emily?"

Alexander noticed her pale face immediately.

"What happened?"

Emily looked at him with fear in her eyes.

"My father…"

Her voice broke.

"They kidnapped my father."

The wedding hall instantly fell silent.

Alexander’s eyes turned cold.

"Who?"

Emily shook her head.

"I don't know…"

But deep inside she already had a suspicion.

Sophia Blake.

Alexander stepped closer.

"What did they say?"

Emily tried to stay calm.

"They said… if I want my father alive…"

Her voice trembled again.

"I have to leave you and come alone."

The guests around them gasped.

Alexander’s expression darkened.

"So that's their game."

Emily looked confused.

"What do you mean?"

Alexander turned to his assistant Daniel.

"Clear the hall."

Daniel nodded immediately.

Within minutes the media and guests were escorted outside.

Soon the massive wedding hall became empty.

Alexander looked back at Emily.

"You are not going anywhere alone."

Emily quickly shook her head.

"But if I don't go… they might kill my father!"

Alexander's voice became firm.

"They won't."

Emily stared at him.

"How can you be so sure?"

Alexander pulled out his phone calmly.

He dialed a number.

The call connected instantly.

"Track the number that just called my wife."

Emily’s heart skipped.

My wife.

Hearing those words felt strange.

Alexander continued speaking.

"And find Mr. Carter's location immediately."

The voice on the phone replied,

"Yes, Mr. Knight."

The call ended.

Emily looked at him in shock.

"You can track them?"

Alexander answered calmly,

"I can find anyone in this city."

His eyes turned dangerous.

"And whoever touched your father…"

His voice dropped lower.

"...just made the biggest mistake of their life."

Meanwhile…

Inside an abandoned warehouse.

Emily’s father, David Carter, was tied to a chair.

A group of rough-looking men stood around him.

One of them held a phone.

"Boss said the girl will come."

Another man laughed.

"Of course she will."

"Poor girls always sacrifice themselves for family."

At that moment…

A black luxury car stopped outside the warehouse.

Sophia Blake stepped out slowly.

Her heels echoed on the concrete floor.

She walked inside with a confident smile.

"Everything ready?"

One of the men nodded.

"Yes, Miss Blake."

Sophia looked at the tied man.

"Poor old man."

She smirked.

"Your daughter ruined my life today."

David looked at her with anger.

"My daughter did nothing wrong!"

Sophia laughed.

"Oh she did."

"She married the man who belongs to me."

Her eyes turned dark.

"So now… she will pay the price."

Back at the wedding hall

Daniel rushed back toward Alexander.

"Sir!"

Alexander turned.

"Did you find them?"

Daniel nodded.

"Yes."

Emily held her breath.

Daniel continued,

"They are in an abandoned warehouse near the river."

Alexander immediately grabbed his coat.

"We're going."

Emily stepped forward.

"I'm coming too!"

Alexander looked at her seriously.

"It's dangerous."

Emily’s eyes filled with determination.

"They kidnapped my father."

"I'm coming."

Alexander studied her for a moment.

Then he nodded.

"Fine."

They quickly left the hotel.

The black luxury car sped through the city at high speed.

Emily’s heart pounded with fear.

She kept thinking about her father.

After a few minutes…

The car suddenly stopped near a dark abandoned building.

Alexander stepped out.

Several black SUVs were already waiting there.

Dozens of security guards stood ready.

Emily looked shocked.

"Who are these people?"

Alexander answered calmly.

"My men."

Emily stared at him.

For the first time…

She realized just how powerful Alexander Knight truly was.

Alexander looked toward the warehouse.

His eyes became cold and dangerous.

"Let's end this."

But neither of them knew…

That inside the warehouse…

Sophia Blake was already waiting with a cruel smile.

And she had prepared a deadly surprise for Alexander.
