John hastily dropped off his boss, Samuel, and Kimberly at the Apartment and left quickly, fearing further entanglement in their affairs. Kimberly stepped into the house first.

After changing her shoes, she headed straight to the sofa. Samuel followed leisurely, exuding his usual distinguished composure, showing no signs of apprehension about facing any impending storm.

His deep, calm eyes briefly scanned Kimberly, sitting on the sofa with her arms crossed and back straight. Her gaze was fixed on him, cold and mocking. She was waiting for him to initiate the conversation and confess.

Kimberly had expected him to show some remorse, but he did not. His tall figure was calm and composed, his face expressionless.

Kimberly's voice turned cold. "Samuel, I'm giving you one last chance. You'd better confess everything."

Samuel was silent momentarily, then finally said, "Wait a moment."

Kimberly watched as he went into the study and soon returned with an exquisite black velvet box in his hand.
