I was in my room, watching my casual show before I got a phone call. “Hello?” I say as I pick up the phone.
“Hi, honey. I haven’t talked to you in a while,” A female voice speaks from the other side of the phone.
“I know mom. You’ve been busy.”
“Sorry, Wendy. I was planning on taking a week break soon so I can spend more time with you.”
My eyes widen, “So sudden? You should’ve given me a month's warning.”

Done. All the laundry has been cleaned. I feel useful. Once Wendy left, I felt bored. I didn’t want to use anything that isn’t mine, like the arcade, the T.V, everything.
