"I'm engaged" I tried my very best not to burst into laughter at his reaction. I lifted my hand to the cup of coffee on my desk.

Sipping it, I inhaled the aroma of the ground cinnamon that had been sprinkled on the top.

Closing my eyes, I enjoyed the feel of the warm liquid go down my throat.

"You.. You're engaged?" He repeated. I couldn't believe it my self but yes, yes I was.

"Yes, I am Owen" I looked up at him slowly, savouring every bit of his shock and disbelief. I never noticed how stupid he looked when he was in disbelief.

I giggled. Maybe beauty truly is in the eyes of the beholder.

I used to adore this man in front of me, now I couldn't care less if he got hit by a bus.

"Engaged to who?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowing. Like I would tell you.

"Come closer, let me whisper it to you" I gestured for him to come closer.

When he was close enough, I moved my lips next to his ear. "Mr none of your business." I moved back, smirking.
