News of Noah donating a huge amount of money to a charity event spread like wildfire. People are complimenting him as some news speak highly of him.

None of these mattered though. Noah glanced at Averill, they are currently having dinner and the news is playing just right in front of them. They decided to eat at home, Averill cooked for Noah but he could not find himself complimenting her explicit cooking because he’s still bitter with what happened last Tuesday.

“You’re already done?” Averill asked when Noah stood up with his plate. Averill glanced at the plate and hid her smile when she saw that he had finished everything.
