Chapter 20

I put the phone away and turn away sighing only to collide with Cade. I smile at him and he smile back 

" Who was that? " 

" My sis " 

" Oh, what does she want " 

" Oh she just wanted to uh.... Talk about something " 

" Okay. Did you satisfy her? " 

 He asked, slipping his hand into the curve of my waist, my breath hitched and goose bumps rose above all my body

I make that sound I always make when things are not alright and I don't want pple to know about. 

" Yea.... Um.... I want to grab a cup of water "  I smile again. Politely moving out of his grasp to the kitchen where I indeed grab the cup and fill it with water. I gulp it down my throat quickly, feeling a sudden urge for milk.

" Why are you avoiding.me? 

" I'm not " 

" You are, you've been doing that lately and it's annoying "  

I turn to face him and smile again.
