CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

ALEX POV

I was falling for my boss. That was not what I had planned for. I shut the door of the cottage after me, and locked it. I felt hot inside and proceeded to remove Logan's borrower clothes. It still smelt like him, I inhaled the heady scent and a curse erupt from my lips at my silliness. Here I was acting like a loved up teenager.

Was my boss flirting with me? I had caught him checking me out. Or maybe my crush on him was getting out of hand that I was now imagining things. Sighing loudly, I took of the remaining clothing on my body and moved to the bathroom.

I had spent more time than was necessary in the bathtub, the water had gone cold now, but I still refused to come out.

A knock at the door startled me. I hastily rushed out of the tube, almost slipping.

"Alex?" I heard Logan's voice. Panic shot through my chest, almost paralyzing me.
