CHAPTER TEN

LOGAN'S POV

I came back from work tired. Edward came in and politely told me he had done what I instructed him to do.

I waved him away and told him to wait till I was done with dinner and my refreshment.

When I was done , I summoned Edward to my office.

"Speak." I commanded when I finally settled down on my chair.

"Well I followed Alex like instructed me to. He went to visit a woman I presume to be his mother."

He paused and I nodded in encouragement.

"There was nothing shady going on. He didn't meet with anyone, apart from his mother and sister."

"Was there a third person in the house? Apart from his mother and sister?" I asked after a thoughtful frown.

"Yes sir. There was a young girl, she's about Alex's age. I investigated her and I found out that her name is Claire Donovan. She works as a waitress In a local restaurant."

"Hmm. I don't like the sound of that. Tell Jeffrey that I want this Claire girl investigated thoroughly. I need a full report about her, down to the c
