Caleb and Wolfe

I could smell her scent way before she'd even entered the gates of Alliance Elite Academy. The human girl sent to save us all, I felt the pull to her and knew the other three would as well. Why did she have to be human? Humans were weak in Caleb's eyes, always getting hurt, losing fights, and indulging in useless things to pass the time.

She was being escorted through the gates by Royalty itself, though; it figures Mossimus would be chosen, even if he wasn't one of the four, it was he who had found and befriended her.

Caleb wondered what she would think if she discovered "Moss" was actually the Elven King of all four forest factions, and not just some weird kid who showed up on her rooftop each night only to be gone when she woke in her own bed. Did she ever wonder how she came to be in her own bed? Of course, she didn't because human brains were smaller than the rest. Silly creatures.

Caleb unfolded his wings, inky black feathers bleeding from his back. Humans couldn't see them, and since he was standing on the top of one of the turrets, her human eyes wouldn't see him anyway. Being a demon prince and an incubus made it hard to talk to anyone, no matter the species, as they succumbed to an annoying thrall whenever they came within talking distance of him.  So Caleb was free to study the human from a distance.

The first good thing is she didn't look like she would blow away in the wind; her body was strong for a human, with no superfluous fat or old breaks that he could see, using his eyes to look through the skin and into the stuff that mattered. Her reproductive organs were healthy, her hymen intact, which gave Caleb a burst of unwanted arousal; she was pure! As for the aesthetics, mid-length jet-black hair, currently pulled back into a messy ponytail, is also another plus for the demon prince; she looked to be low maintenance. Her skin was golden and dewy. She must drink water and limit the amount of lolly drinks she has. A rumble of approval snuck its way out of Caleb's throat; he chose to ignore it. She wasn't looking up at the clouds, so he had no way of seeing the soul within her eyes, and that would never do. He had to know everything.

Cracking his neck from side to side, the Demon Prince lengthened his wings and dove towards his target.

WOLFE

The first day back was always chaos, new entrants getting lost, old friends group-hugging, a new human girl walking ahead of him with the most amazing scent. He tracked her all the way from the car park and through the gate before he realised she wasn't alone.

"Is everything okay, Alpha?"

His beta and best friend Frost was at his side, going wherever Wolfe led without question-until now.

"Can't you scent your future Queen, Frost?" Wolfe laughed, momentarily lost in the mate bond slowly stretching between him and this curious woman being escorted by the Elf King. That must be Ruby, the human who would save the magical kingdom, and wow, she was a looker.

All Wolfe could see was her derriere and the toned body underneath her clothing. Nice wide hips were definitely a plus, but Wolfe wanted to know what substance this Ruby had; that's what mattered to him the most. Would she serve well as a Luna for his pack? There has never been a human in any role of importance in his pack, but he was a forward thinker and leading the Stonewolves into a new age with a human luna might be exactly what the moon goddess had planned for them after all. Just as he was wondering if any of the four chosen had seen her before him, a huge gust of wind blew his knees out from under him, and Frost immediately moved in front of Caleb, guarding against an unknown enemy. Frost needn't have bothered, as he was brushed away like a twig.

Burning heat reached for him, and Wolfe looked up at Caleb, offering his hand. He grasped it; knowing the demon's heat had no power over him, it was all part of the prophecy of the four, and Caleb was a friend; they lived in the same Apartment.

" Here I was thinking I was the first to spot her, but the saliva on your face and the boner in your pants prove otherwise."
