A PROPOSAL

As she opened the door, the aroma of pancakes and oatmeal wafted into her nostrils but another mouthwatering scent hit her too, Lucian.

What was he doing here, does he wants to chase me already? , these disturbing thoughts made her frown slightly.

"Come here". his voice a little hoarse as seeing her step out of the bathroom stirred something primal in him. She limped towards him slowly and his cold eyes flickered a bit but took a stronger resolve before one could say "Jack".

"Alpha Lucian" she bowed her head respectfully

" Sit down" he eyed her bad leg

" You are to stay in this pack until I say not to" he said calmly while watching her face break into a small smile.

" But not as a maid but a warrior, your training commences after your stay in the infirmary" he smirked as her smile melted as fast as it formed .

" Did he just say warrior, was he trying to kill me before he chases me out" She thought in her head with her face as pale as a ghost.

"What , you can't handle such? , you might as well leave this........"

" No, I'll stay " she said with a grim face

" But , I don't think I can..." she was cut off coldly

" No but's, it's either that or you scram" He glared at her fiercely.

"Why does he hate me so much, have I done anything before, why does he....." he cuts her from her line of thoughts.

" And don't you dare tell anyone about our relationship or I will have no choice than to finish you up myself " He said with a dark face

" And you know I don't bluff" He added while slamming the door shut .

She gritted her teeth in anxiousness, fine! , he wants a strong Luna, then I'll be one for him. He will approve of me with that thought she silently swallowed up her oat meal.

"I can do this, I can do this" she kept on chanting to herself as Andrew, the captain of the warriors was leading her to the training field.

The training field was a wide field that was covered in green carpet grass. It was divided into three sections, the beginners section where young pups that are interested in fighting were trained , they were about 200, some were younger than Penelope and some were older than her,the number of those that are her age were like 35 or so. The intermediate section were made up of young wolves that had promising futures as they trained as if the world was coming to an end.

Then the advanced section was were mouthwatering men stood, heavily built and their abs were well chiselled like an art of work.

" Hmghh" The sound of a clearing throat dragged her back from her day dreaming and she jolted back and found a pair of hazel eyes staring at her with amusement .

" Down to earth young lady, you'll be needing more focus than that" he said with a smirk and she blushed furiously as embarrassment washed through her.

"Urghhh, why did he see me"

" That served you right" Ariana huffed in frustration

" Calm down Ana , we all know that our mate's body will even be more defined"

" Definitely" She said with a tinge of pride and Penelope scoffed lightly.

"But seriously why was everyone staring at her like they wanted to bore a hole right through her skull" She frowned at the thought

" Good day warriors, today we have a new addition, Penelope" He looked around and saw some disagreeable faces and those that were bold enough let out a low growl. No one wanted her, first she was a girl, second she was an Omega and the very obvious one, she was weak.

He calmly nudged her arm so she could speak.

" Hello everyone, I'm Penelope and I hope to learn from all of you" She said in her best brave voice which sounded like she was begging for mercy in the ears of the crowd and they looked at her with more disdain. When the crowd calmed down he continued.

" So according to our rules she will have to duel with someone here so we can know her strength status " some people scoffed and sneered at the thought of this weak sickly thing having to fight while she just gulped down nervously.

" Can I choose Captain" she asked pleadingly

" Well on a normal circumstance, you're supposed to, but due to some orders , I will choose for you, Jason come forward " he ordered while shooting her an apologetic glance.

The crowd jeered for they knew she was about to be beaten up if not killed. Now Jason was from the intermediate section but he looked strong enough to join the advanced section and that was what he was looking forward to but now he was asked to duel with this thing. His gray- blue eyes squinted as he sized Penelope up, surely this was an insult to his side as she was unreasonably weak. I mean he was not a gentleman but he surely doesn't have a thing for beating up a liability.

" I refuse Captain for I may mistakenly put her in a coma" he sneered and the others laughed at his joke .

Penelope frowned as her wolf growled in anger while clawing everywhere to be out.

" Just be careful, now start " He ordered

Everyone cleared out and formed a circle where the duel will be taking place. Penelope and Jason stood facing each other with a few meters between them. As soon as the whistle was blown, Jason sprinted towards her in fury for his ego and slammed her down on the floor and the crowd winced at the sound it made while Penelope was shocked because she didn't expect him to come so fast, so there, she sprawled on the floor while holding her stomach and groaning in pain, doesn't this man have sympathy for women, well she guessed not as he held her hair and gave her heavy slaps that left her ears ringing and brain fuzzing and the crowd was giving their ohh's and ahh's . She spat out blood and her vision became blurry as blood tickled into her eyes for he gave her a rather not beautiful cut on her forehead.
