REJECTION

" I Alpha Lucian Dimitri rejects you as a mate, Luna and as a pack member, leave my pack this moment...."

Lucian has always wanted a strong Luna not some sickly looking Omega. His mother lovely but weak, never wanting to take part in any form of training and his father indulged her because he loved her, Hell.. he was obsessed with her. She was his weakness, his only obliviousness and his enemies took advantage of that.

She was kidnapped and his father tailed along like a puppy following a treat, forgetting and abandoning hos packs to the hands of the Red moon pack. Lucian was only eight but he witnessed everything as he ran after his father that night.

Before him, his mother was killed and his father went berserk with pain and anger, killing everyone there and later killing himself.

Lucian was filled with more anger than pain, angry that his mother was weak, angry that his father was also weak for he abandoned his pack which was his first priority, angry at himself for not being able to do anything, well what could he have done, I mean.... he was just eight. But age couldn't stop the resolve he made in his heart " He won't go down the same way his father did".

And now the moon goddess was playing dirty tricks on him by giving him a thin looking creature as his mate, and the weakest of all wolves, an Omega, no, he would rather stay without a mate for himself than accept this liability as a mate.

" I...... please don't......."

" Save your breathe and leave this pack, you're not needed anyways, what's your name? He asked with a deep scowl.

" Penelope " She said in a whisper with her head bowed.

" Good, I Lucian Dimitri rejects you Penelope as my mate, accept the rejection least I force it out of your throat" He growled.

" I accept the rejection " a tone of reluctance was detected.

Penelope's weak voice rang through the forest as she accepted the rejection, if she had known she wouldn't have followed the arousing scent she perceived, I mean who can ignore the sharp mouth watering scent of spice mixed with lavender plant. She was an Omega and a weak one at that so this rejection made her more weaker.

She felt a full ache in her chest but It was bearable.

" I thought rejection hurts more than this" She pondered out her thoughts as a whisper .

" You didn't accept it dummy" Her wolf's voice rang out with pain lacing it.

She gave out a disappointed "ohhh" and left it at that.

Penelope always fantasized how her life would be after meeting her mate, a happy one of course, but now she regrets meeting her mate, cause now she neither has a mate or a pack she belongs to.

Penelope, born by two rogues though she doesn't know her origin she knows she's been at Twilight pack all her life and it wasn't the best experience she can reminisce.

" Go pack anything that you have and leave before dawn"

His decision was final, she can't stay in this pack as he knows how mate bond works, at least he got to learn it first hand from his parents. Roshan, his wolf was groaning and moving about hysterically in his mind and it was getting him dizzy. He needed to get away from this Omega else Roshan might take control and the end won't be so blissful.

As she walked quietly through the servants quarters, it was empty and only the sound of crickets were heard. She felt numb instead of pain which was not odd, she knew she was different, she was the weakest of all Omega's and that made her the target whenever someone has pent up frustrations and she was always available.

As she walked through the hallway, she hoped not to see anybody for she was certain she didn't have any strength for beatings, moreover, she needed all her strength for her journey tonight.

As she entered her room that has only a bed as a furniture, she waited for any surprise punches but received none, so she set to work and started packing, when she saw a book that has been her only companion for eighteen years now, as she opened it she saw the only wish she has ever prayed for, a mate.

And then she broke down in terrible heart wrenching sobs that shook her frail frame, she had trained herself not to cry no matter what but the pain she received when she was rejected at first glance left her shattered. She packed the few things she had, her two worn out gowns that had numerous patches and her book. After a long glance at the wreck of a room she inhabited for years, she turned and left.

She left with no pain, what's left anyway?, all she knows is that no one can break her, not even her Alpha mate. God knows she had dragged on for eighteen years and she knows she can keep going on.

Luck ran out on her as she saw her core enemy, Sophia, she was wearing a green nightgown that complimented her hazel eyes and blonde hair. She was the definition of beautiful witch.

" Where are you going?, you stinky thing, well like I care but I hope you never return".

And with that Penelope received a slap for no reason, tears glittered in Penelope's eyes but she kept her head bowed.

" Go and never return to this pack, you can as well go rogue and meet your useless parents".

Sofia was the beta's sister and oh was she wicked!!, she took delight in harassing those weaker than her and what can be more lowly than a weak Omega.

" Don't you dare call my parents useless again.

Penelope's voice rang out, as cold as an ice berg, she didn't know what made her bold but she knew something snapped in her when her parents names were mentioned.

Sophia was shocked as she felt something was off from this slave girl today.

" Who do you think you're speaking to like that" she finished with a hard slap that got Penelope's ears ringing.

And she fell to the ground as she got dizzy form the impact of the slap and without warning, several blows and bone jabbing hits rained down on her, looks like Sophia's minions joined in the fun.

She laid there all curled up and gritting her teeth in pain, when they were satisfied, they left. She was too battered to stand up, so she laid there, gasping for breath, each breathe felt harder than the last.

And when she was healed up to an extent she stood up while letting out a low growl in pain. She could heal fast, that's the only gift the moon goddess gave her.

She walked slowly, dragging her feet along with her, she cursed Sophia in her heart. "The witch hated her for no reason, no one liked her, no one". She thought in her heart as lonely tears fell down her pale blues eyes making them shimmer.

And as she was reaching the outskirts of the pack, she felt Ariana begging for control, to release her own pain the way she knew best. She rarely let her out due to her odd color it made her feel like a monster . It made her wolf snappy but reduced the risk for more mockery for she'll rather be called the wolf less Omega than a monster.

And after much contemplation, she let her out and she shone under the moonlight, scarlet red as bright as a Red moon.

The woods welcomed her as their own, whispering words of comfort that only a heart full of scars can comprehend.
