Alpha Ace Chapter 5

Runa had a peaceful sleep.

You know those nights of sleep where it feels like you’re the richest of rich and you’re happy with your mate and your pups? Oh, and you’re taking family photos, going bowling, and doing family lovely stuff?

Yeah, that was her dream.

Until she was woken up by a knock. She checked the time and it was four am, barely even a day. Why why why? She went to the door and opened it with an exhausted yawn. Looking up she saw it was Alpha Ace though he didn’t look pleased.

“Where’s my kid?”

“Ahh you’re too loud and he’s sleeping.” She said, half tired.

He glared, “Okay women, give me kid already.” He said with a stern look. She nodded with a sigh as she yawned and went back to the bed. She ignored his rudeness. She picked Ryan up, trying her best to not wake him, and then hands him back to his father.

“A thank you would be nice.” She joked, he just left without a blink of an eye. “Great.” She mumbled as decided to walk back to her room now that she was up and awake.

She grabbed all of her stuff and closed the doors of the guest rooms.

She then made her way to her room and walked to her room. Milo was there with a look as he watched the scary movies on his screen. “Holy fuck.” Milo whispered as he flicked his popcorn. “Why are you coming in so late? Your family’s worried sick about you.” He smirked.

“Of course... I’ll deal with them when I wake up.” She said, exhausted as she flopped on the bed.

When she woke she was bombarded with questions from her family as she decided to visit them. “Fuck Runa! You had me worried as shit. I thought you left again.” Vinnie said, hugging her for the tenth time this morning.

“I already told you! My phone died and I was taking care of Alpha Ace’s kid. He was lost.” She said with a shrug.

Her parents only shook their heads as they just were happy their daughter hadn’t disappeared again. Vinnie was always protective of his sister so they were use to this. “But you- you could have tried calling us somehow. Please never do that again.” He said seriously.

“Baby calm down, she’s fine okay?” Lily said, calming her mate down. Thank god for Lily or he would go on and on.

He looked at his mate before nodding, “Fine. But never again.” He said as he went up to his room with his mate.

Molly only laughed while Dante smirked. “He’s so annoying sometimes.” Runa giggled.

“I heard that!” He yelled from upstairs.

They only sighed. “Runa guess what.” She hummed for them to continue. “I found my mate! And Dante did as well. Oh my god, my mate is so hot and he’s a soon to be beta!” She smiled.

“My mates so cute and so... just a heads up we did have sex and it was great.” Dante smirked as he was getting all riled up.

Runa groaned, shoving her brother. “I’m so happy for you both but seriously Dante, TMI!”

“Anyways let’s talk about my mate. Her names Annie, she’s a smoking hot chocolate women, my heart melts just thinking about last night.” Dante decided to keep on going with his sex life and that’s where Runa had to put an end to that.

Ryan decided that she would go and take a quick shower. She went to Molly’s room since everyone else practically hated her. She took a shower, shampooing her hair and even shaving her legs a bit. Getting out she plow dried her hair and changed into some of Molly’s clothing.

She felt calm and relaxed. It was as if yesterday's offense of Damien or false and they were all a fairytale. She didn’t know how to explain her emotions, she just knew that whatever feelings she was feeling, they were no longer there. She was happy. Maybe it was because of the little boy from last night.

Anyways getting back to her clothes, she decided to wear a large grey sweatshirt with some tights. They were some of Molly’s clothing. She placed her hair into a bun and let’s two strands fall low. Molly had walked in as she was just applying her light makeup on. This was her normal hairstyle in the morning.

“Runa what should I do? I don’t know how to tell mom and dad that I found my mate last night.” She said, she always came to her big sister for these types of things.

Runa could tell that her sister was nervous so she only put her in a hug and reassured her that everything was all right.

“You know our parents are accepting. Look how Lily has become apart of the family. Just introduce them.” She said, giving her best advice. She wishes she could have that but her mate rejected her so fast. She pulled away from the hug and it was as if Molly‘s mood became enlightened.

Molly smiled and nodded, “Thank you Runa. And once again, I’m very happy you’re home.”

Runa only smiled and went back to what she was doing. Her words engraving her mind.

After changing Runa decided to get a good walk in. She told her family she would be back but she already knew Vinnie was very hesitant on this.

She was met with the sun as she walked and walked. “RUNA!” She heard a familiar voice, turning around she feels arms around her leg. “You said you wouldn’t leave.” It was Ryan and she smiled, crouching down.

“Your daddy came Ryan.”

“Ryan! You can’t just do what you pleas- What the fuck are you doing here?” Alpha Ace had said as he picked his son up and glared.

She scoffed. She didn’t know why he was being so hostile. “I’m just strolling around, getting a nice walk in.” She smirked.

“Daddy I wanna go to lunch with Runa.” Ryan pouted as he tried to get out of his father's hold but Alpha Ace frowned.

“But what about blueberry pancakes?” Ace had said, placing his son down and looking at her with a glare. She just smiled.

Ryan hugged her leg as he smiled up at her. He then looked to his father with a sigh, “Daddy we eat together every day. I wanna eat with Runa can I please?” Ryan bag with the shivering lip and puppy dog eyes.

His father simply sighs and looked at his son before looking at Runa. He was still suspicious of her but he couldn’t resist his son's eyes.

“Fine! But bring him back before dawn, I’ll be waiting right here.”

Cheering, Ryan told his father goodbye and he walked alongside Runa. She simply looked back at Alpha Ace and nodded. “Don’t worry, he’s in good hands.”

Trusting her words he turned back around, he had a lot of alpha work to do.
