It was around five when Runa dropped off Ryan to Ace, he was a little mad but Ryan made him calm down. She was now in her bed, clutching her pillow to herself as Molly soothes her back. “He’s such the fucking ass. I swear I’ll slap that cocky smirk of his.” Molly threatens.
“Don’t go slapping anyone Molly, he’s still an alpha.” She reminded her timid sister which she just rolled her eyes childishly.
“I know that but he shouldn’t even be here. What would Marlene think?” Molly scoffed as she sat on the end childishly. Runa just sighed.
Vinnie and Dante were quiet just letting them talk. “I swear I would have ripped his heart out right there if I could,” Vinnie said darkly. Dante agreeing with his older brother. “He looked like an ass with that smirk of his.”
“Vinnie,” Runa says with a stern look as she shook her head. “Don’t do anything reckless.”
“I know, I know. Still, he should know his boundaries. He rejected you so there should be no bond between you two.”Vinnie said those words slightly stinging her, “Sorry.”
Dante shook his head, “Anyways we should probably get ready. You know mom wants us all to be at the dinner tonight.” They all groaned remember that they had this dinner.
“Oh fuck me. I forgot about that.” Molly said as she laid on the bed, “Okay you guys go off with your mates and let us get ready.”
And then the door opened and Milo walked in with wide eyes, “Oh the family’s here.” Milo said awkwardly, waving at them all. His mate was right beside him and she waved shyly.
“Sorry about this. Bye boys.” She waved her brothers off which they just sighed reluctantly and left. Milo and his mate walked in and went to their side of the bed to cuddle, “Oh come on Milo.”
Rolling his eyes he smirked, “Shut it Runa, don’t mind us.” They got under the covers and Runa just pulled her sister to the bathroom.
“Let’s just get ready here. There’s no telling what we might hear.” Runa chuckled.
“Good idea.” Molly joked.

So they weren’t going all spontaneous like the last get together. Molly wore a yellow sundress that was not too short and not too long. Her dirty blonde hair was in a bun and she placed light mascara on with a few blush.
Whilst Runa wore a red dress, some red lipstick and once again she decided to wear some expensive sparkling red heels again. She straightened her hair and placed just mascara on it. “You look so good. I’m so happy you’re home.” Molly said, pulling her in a hug.
Runa felt like she was going to always hear those words but then again she wasn’t complaining, “I’m happy to be home too.” When they got to their parent's packhouse, they gasped at their parent's attire.
Their mom wore a red dress, the same as her daughters, and looked dashing. Her father with a suit looking handsome as ever. “You guys look so stunning,” Runa said with a smile.
“Why thank you as you both look beautiful.” She said kissing Molly’s cheek and then kissing Runa’s. “Can I talk with you, sweetie?” She asked.
Runa nodded and they departed from the two. “Vinnie told me what happened. How are you feeling?
“I’m feeling better. He said he had something to explain to me, I’m still debating on whether to listen.” She explained as she picked at her fingers.
Her mother grabbed her hands and lifted them to her lips, kissing them lightly. “Do what you think is best. Don’t feel pressured to do anything you don’t like and make sure you stay safe.”
“But it’s so frustrating, I’m scared.” She whispered.
Smiling she pulled some strand of hair behind her daughter's ear, “It’s hard, I know. Decide because you want to.” She said, “You know how your father and I have stayed so solid. Communication my love, communication solved all of our problems, and talking with your family makes everything better.”
“Thanks, mom, I love you so much.” She hugged her mother tightly, sniffing the strawberry smell she lingered.
Her mother was always easy to talk with. She always understood. As a child whenever she had nightmares, she always knew what’s best to say. She had missed this over the five years she was gone.
“I love you too bunny.” She said the nickname she had given Runa when she was a baby.
“Guys? I think it’s time to go.” Vinnie said coming in with his hair wet and a suit tossed on. As if he was in a rush. His mate on the other hand looked dashing with her bright green strapless dress.
Everyone heads downstairs, her father waiting for his beautiful wife. When they got together they linked hands and gave each other’s kisses. “Before we go I have to say something!” Molly blurted out.
She looked nervous.
Her mom nodded for her to continue, “I found my mate.” Runa smiled proudly as she was finally telling them.
“Oh my, hunny that’s amazing.” Her father, pulling her into a hug and kissing her back, “He’ll be at the dinner? I hope to meet him soon.”
Nodding she smiled, she didn’t know why she was worried because she knew her family was so supportive. “He’ll be there.”
“That’s so great baby.” Her mom said, giving her kissy lips.
“Okay, can we please go down, if my stomach growls again I think me and Michael (his wolf) will die?”
Chuckling the family heads downstairs to where over two hundred guests would be, awaiting their arrival. It wasn’t their choice to host this dinner at their place but her mother was always a weak one when it came to creative things.
When they finally made it, Runa looked at the crowds of people. Some young, some teens, and the majority adults. She noticed that Ryan was there in a little suit talking with his father. As if Ryan could feel her gaze he looked up and showed a big grin as he waved at her. She waved back but noticed that Ace was watching her and then made Ryan focus on the conversation they were having.
Ryan scoffed at his acts, it was like he never smiled or showed emotions.
He noticed her frown and he only smiled at that as he lifted the glass to his lips.
Alpha Ace watched her from afar and truthfully he liked that she was taking an interest in his son since he had secrets of his own.
Chapter 39 (THE END)A Year Later."Isn't Alpha talk a bit much?" Ryan said as he trailed behind his father, a grimaced look. For an eight-year-old, he sure was very mature and it had always surprised Runa and Ace. "Why is that? You'll be the next alpha in line you should take responsibility," Ace said as they started to approach their large home. "Now remember what you learned today. That is what it's like to be a leader." He smirked, nudging his chin.Ryan brushed him off with a rolled eye and they went into their house. They could both hear laugher and then as they turned the corner, Runa and Nicole were making some pies, a mess at that. "Dada!!" Nicole cheered as she ran up to her father,
Chapter 382 Months Later“Look at you, you’ve gotten the hang of it.” Runa said, smiling at Ryan as he used his powers, controlling them. “Thank you.” He giggled as he used his powers to fly a bit, “Hey look I’m taller!” He smiled, flying around her.She placed her hand up and placed him down, using her magic, “Not yet little one. Did you forget Erica taught me magic?” She grinned. “Now pick up the TV and place it on the counter.” She said, sitting back and watching him carefully.Ryan showed a determined look before placing his hands up, imagining the table going up. He tried and tried until he got it a little bit up. Sweat dripping down his f
Runa looked at Erica with a surprised look. “What? You’re leaving?” Runa said.Erica smiled but nodded and grabbed Runa’s hand. “There's a large meeting for witches and I have to attend since I am one of the strongest leaders. I won’t be back for at least five years.” She said and Runa could only frown.Truthfully, she didn’t want Erica to leave since it had only been two months since the incident. In the past days, Erica has been teaching Runa more magic to where she’s perfectly performed great magic. Erica was a little surprised at how quickly she got the hang of it. Performing magic was something she was truly born with and in all honesty, Runa was her best student.“Five years? Why is something happenin
36NSFW Warning “The moon goddess has blessed us and I’m gonna be a grandfather.” Her father said, taking in the news that Ryan just spoiled. He was feeling a lot better. His fever went down and he was back to being the cheerful little boy he always been. “Well you got your wish dad.” Runa said with a smile as she held Ace’s hand tightly.“Runa you don’t mind if we chat?” Alex had said with a smile. Runa nodded and followed him to the kitchen. He looked serious for some reason. “Me and my mate decided that we’ll go back to Alpha. I think you’re very protected here.” He smirked.
35Ace explained the whole situation and Runa could only sink as she looked at Ryan’s shivering body. “Erica there’s nothing we can do to help him?” Runa asked as she softly touched Ryans head.“Im sorry dear. He has to fight this since he has no mate.” Erica said with a sad smile.Everyone’s mood became sadden at this. The thought of Ryan fighting whatever evilness alone, it only broke her heart. Sinking her head in the crock of his neck, she cried softly and whispered sweet things. Ace only held onto her back as he was truly deep in thought. “Luna. I’m sorry to interrupt but your family heard the news and are here right now.” Charlie said, coming in the room with the stench of blood.
34“Dear, blink twice for yes and blink once for no.” Erica tried a method of getting Runa’s attention but it failed. Erica could hear the commotion outside and it frightened her terribly. She went to her grandsons side and wiped his sweaty forehead. “Sweetheart? It’s GG, give me something to know you can hear my voice.” Erica whispered as she softly cried, holding his hand. The three of them look like they were in pain, she had no clue what was going on but she was a witch.A strong one at that. She wasn’t gonna let this stop her. She picked out her book and started to look for anything to fix this problem, meanwhile, Runa was deep in thought. She didn’t know where she was, only following a soft cry. This i
