[ Gemma ]

“Rowan, this is not fair. I don’t think we can live like this. We haven’t talked to each other properly in last two days. You didn’t talk to me actually.” I said as my patience ran thin with Rowan.

“We’re talking.” He responded flatly and I sighed in frustration.

He shut me like this for last two days.

He had been giving me cold shoulder ever since I agreed to attend the party at Crystal Pack. I had my reasons.

He was walking beside me with a blank face. We had reached at the Crystal Pack. I had thought about it a lot and realized that Micheala was right. Danger will follow me everywhere, my whole life would be spent running and hiding.

I’d not wish this life for my baby. I wanted him be born in a normal atmosphere and as long as I had Rowan’s back, hoped that he’d shield me until I will be ready to fight my own battles.

I took a deep breath as my palms got sweaty due to nervousness. For the world, I died a traitor’s death but tonight, I was going to face all of them again.
