My breath got hitched in my throat when his lips brushed over mine. I felt like millions of atoms burst inside me. It’s a bit hyperbolic but the feeling I felt, it couldn’t be described in words. It was like the first drop of rain on barren land.

He gently nibbled on my bottom lip.

I placed my hands on his shoulder and arched my head back as he traced his tongue on my chin, his hot breath was falling on my face. I could feel his chest heaving up and down.

“I love you, Gemma Pristley and I am saying this in my right sense of mind.” He repeated those words again.

I slowly opened my eyes and with a hazy stare, I looked at his face for any trace of deception but I found none.
