Arthur’s POV:

“Are you okay?” Lila asked from my side and I cleared my throat, clenching and unclenching my fist, trying to get myself to stay focused on the road in front of me.

“Of course, I am. Why do you ask?” I responded, taking my eyes off the road for a couple of seconds to throw a smile her way.

“Well for one, you’ve not said a word to me in thirty minutes, you keep clenching and unclenching your fists, you look stiff and like you’re about to snap something in half, and let’s not forget how you treated in your house a couple of nights ago.” She said and I sighed heavily trying to get all my raging emotions under control.

“Look Lila, I’m sorry okay. Things have just been getting overwhelming for me lately and I’m just trying to find a balance. I’m trying to find the best middle ground for everything.”

“So I have been overwhelming? What did I do?” She asked and I sighed heavily, rolling my eyes.
