14. Watching The Sunset

Jessy's POV:

My heart began hammering in its cage but surprisingly she didn't turn to acknowledge me, she only walked straight up to Ashley and I watched as the poor girl shivered in fear. The woman just had an edge around her that made her look so dangerous, her aura was disturbing, and even as far away as she was, I could still feel it from here and it had goosebumps rising on my skin.

“Hey,” Stephen called, tapping on my hand to get my attention.

“Are you okay?” He asked again and I offered him a small smile.

“Of course, can we get out of here though?” I asked and he nodded.

“Of course, I’ll just pack these up and we could have them in my spot. Come on.”

“Your spot?” I asked but he was already headed for Ashley to ask for a bag.

I made my way out of the cafe, hoping that the fresh evening breeze would help get rid of the fear that had plagued me at seeing the woman, but only a couple of seconds later she exited the building, once again no words were exchanged, I only watched
