17. Savior Eyes

Jessy’s POV:

I flipped my eyes open and the ease I felt was one that I was starting to get used to. Coming here was a good idea and I was starting to feel it. I flipped open my eyes and the darkness in the room greeted me. Although I didn’t have a wolf my senses were still pretty sharp and I easily adjusted to the darkness in the room. I knew that it was still pretty early but I felt rested enough already and so I sat up in bed before reaching to turn on the lamp beside the bed.

The dim lights flooded the room and I pulled my phone out of charging before going through my texts. There were a couple from my brothers and my father had also sent me a message, he was doing better than I expected and I was impressed that he was actually letting me be.

I scrolled further down and found a text from Stephen. It was a simple message asking how I was doing and it made me smile. I had gone to bed earlier last night and that was why I missed the text in the first place but since I started worki
