Rosalind ran off without any warning.
The old woman seemed confused by her sudden action, so I turned to her and bowed my head.
"Thank you, ma'am! We best be going now," I said.
Although she still seemed a little bit confused, she nodded her head and gave me a small smile.
I then ran off after Rosalind.
"Fuck. What the hell happened?" I muttered under my breath.
We weaved through the crowd until we finally made it to the palace gates. The guards, seeing that it was Rosalind and I who were coming their way, quickly opened the gates and let us inside.
"Welcome back, Princess Ro—,"
They didn't even get finish their greeting since we were already running towards the palace.
The first person we came across with was Sebastian, who was worriedly pacing back and forth on the front porch.
