Baylor POV “Thanks for that. My brain just froze back there,” I said to Alpha Colin as we ran to follow the warrior. “It will be second nature soon enough, Baylor. Alpha Baylor Unexpected Arrival 2
Baylor POV When we arrived at the packhouse oddly enough the only person in the living room was Kenneth, my best friend and Beta. Baby Marlon had fallen asleep during the walk back and for that I was thankful, but it wouldn’t be long before he would wake again and be hungry or worse; need a diaper change. When Kenneth spotted me coming through the door he got a confused look on his face. When his mouth opened to say something, I mind-linked him. ‘Go up to my room. We’ll talk there.’ He simply nodded and walked up the stairs. When we got into the room, I laid the pup on my bed before going to sit on Mitchums bed to talk to Kenneth. “You know how Alpha Stephan was supposed to be coming to help build the temporary housing?” I asked Kenneth. “Yeah, he was just waiting for his Luna to have their pup, so they could travel,” he replied casually. “Well Stephan isn’t coming and that is his pup.” I said pointing to where Marlon was laying on my bed. “What are you gonna do Bay?” Kenneth asked.
Alpha Baylor Tasked by Selene
Siobhan POV I am so happy to finally be able to hold my gift from Selene in my arms. She is absolutely perfect, my little Connie Avery Cashel. I hope that Fiadh is right though, and that Alpha isn’t upset with me. The Moon Goddess told me that Connie and I are an important part of a task she assigned to Alpha. Baylor POV I am blown away by Siobhan’s selflessness and I wouldn’t say it out loud, but maybe just a little intimidated by her new found hutzpah. She took charge of everything and even stood up to me when she felt she was being dismissed. When she pulled her boob out to start feeding Alpha Marlon it was a little weird, but it was like it was natural and normal for her. Luna Freya and the other females came back about an hour after Siobhan had fed Marlon and showed Kenneth and I how to change a nappy. Delania POV I don’t think Baylor meant what he said last night, at least not in that manner. Don’t get me wrong, I would be thrilled if he meant that he thought I was beautiful, but I am sure he meant the lullaby. Ever the gentleman, even tired, wanted to pay a compliment and think of someone before himself. I have noticed he does that, puts everyone else in front of himself. Whether it is physical needs like making sure everyone else eats first, or making the most insignificant feel as if they are the most worthy. Those are the marks of a great Alpha, he may not be the strongest and definitely doesn’t fully grasp all that being a werewolf is, but he is kind and selfless. Alpha Baylor Morning Dummy
Baylor POV It felt like I had to hit the floor running this morning, Alpha Marlon woke us all bright and early. I now understood what Alpha Colin had meant by pups not breathing right. More than once I woke up and stuck a finger under Marlon's nose to make sure he was breathing. Thank the goddess that Phoebe is an eternal ball of sunshine and volunteered to go make a bottle bringing coffee when she came back. Baylor POV The rest of the day went really well, once we got past the shit show of the morning. Agatha came and gave Machieste another dose of healing magic. And After listening to our plan, placed the suppression spell on Alpha Marlon’s aura. I hope that was the right decision, but it feels right and Alpha Colin agreed it was a sound idea. Just before lunch we introduced the Cashel ‘twins’ as the pack’s first of the next generation. After talking with Dane and Alpha Colin, it was decided that we are going to have to really step up pack security and training. However we decided that training would be canceled, just for the next two days so we could focus on getting the housing in place. We have been extremely fortunate that there hasn’t been any bad weather with many of the pack members sleeping in tents waiting for housing. Delania POV I was so surprised when Alpha Baylor invited Sarafina to run with Shammus tonight. I won’t lie and say that for just a brief moment I fantasized about seeing more than his naked chiseled chest and abs. I want to know how far that tattoo on his left hip dipped into his pants and I definitely wanted to know exactly what it felt like to have him pressed against me. When he led me out of the packhouse after dinner I expected that we would strip and shift leaving our clothes on the packhouse porch like we always do.
