Chapter 20 - Call me Dalton, I want to hear you say my name

Cassandra’s point of view:

This kiss was different from the one when we’d thrown ourselves at each other at the top of the mountain and from the one we just shared yesterday. Those kisses had been full of desperate passion and desire and an I must have you now adrenaline boost.

This kiss was slow and measured. And, I could feel its warmth and the slow spread of it through my body as I was awakened to the desires within me. It felt as if he was trying to take his time to memorize every bit of it… as if figuring something.

This kiss took my breath away.

I almost let out a complaining whine when he broke it off suddenly and leaned back.

My lips were still burning from his touch, my body screaming to be touched too, and my heart was pounding its way through my veins.
