"Get to the point," Liam abruptly cut off the woman.

*Just as the rumors said—cold and merciless.* Miranda forced a smile and replied professionally, "Here's our proposal. I'd be happy to make any necessary revisions."

Liam flipped through the file for a moment before glancing up at Miranda sitting across from him. He raised an eyebrow and said, "I'm rejecting this proposal. You can leave now."

Miranda's face froze. "But you've barely looked at it. Dismissing our work so quickly is an insult to our company."

Liam's patience thinned. He particularly despised people who spoke foolishness with such confidence. His wolf stirred with irritation as he said flatly, "We only accept the best proposals. Clearly, yours doesn't meet our standards."
