132. A perfect family
Rudy finally relaxes after we give him some more answers, we still don’t tell him what we are because he freaked out about hearing voices in his head so we fill it’s just best that we don’t for the time being.
Daryl gives him a chance to stay in the house, he would have guards stationed outside his room and they would accompany him anywhere he went. He was a bit confused about the guards until we showed him around the house and he uses the notebook to ask if we were some kind of King and Queen.
Daryl smiles “You could say something like that”

It had been almost a year since I lost my mate, my best friend, my true love. I wish I had been told how much pain losing a mate would cause and how long it would last because the truth is, it never goes away and you can only learn to accept it along with being alone. Truth is, I didn’t want the pain to ever go away because to me it signalled that I wasn’t ready to move on and nor do intend too. As I sit watching the twins crawl around, I smile and hoped they would never feel the same pain that I do but at the same time I was grateful to have them here, a boy and a girl because they kept me fighting another day. The boy I had named after Daryl, Daryl Junior or as I had been calling him DJ, two minutes older than his sister, he was the spitting image of his father, right down to his eyes. They were not the traditional amber colour of a Royal but bright blue and they gave me hope that he would have a better life than being the leader of the Royals when my time was up.

The man stares at me, a crooked smile on his face, his frame filling the doorway. I felt fine, I look over myself, nothing looked out of place. I even peer down my own hospital gown, the usual scars still lingered, nothing had changed there.“I only have a headache”He smiles at me, “Maybe, but what he means is the level of wolfsbane. “YOU CAN’T”His green eyes glare at me, but he doesn’t try anything else. His hands smooth out the sheets on the bed before he sits in the chair. A complete change of behaviour comes as he tells me he will keep me company until Daryl returns. He sits with his hands on his lap, not really paying me much attention and closes his eyes, tipping his head back.I watch him as he falls asleep and creep towards him. I could kill him, again. My fingers reach out to touch the scar on his face, my fingers had traced it so many times before and yet it was like it was the first time I was touching it.Dropping my hand, I look around the room, searching for something, anything that I could use to kill him. Later that day, Daryl tells me that I can sleep in his bed, or he can have the bedroom next door set up for me. It was odd hearing him give me options. He looks at me like I have lost the plot. His dark eyes wide, before his eyebrows narrow.“You have already suggested that my parents need to die, now you want me to kill my best friend.
